Comments (5)The links for the rooms to click on are located in a grayish-blue box under the words "Sub Albums." Click on each of the rooms separately to see that room. 1st Floor Powder Room, Hall Bath, Master Bath. mariainny, the master bath tile was from a local tile store. The hall bath tile was a great price at Worldwide Wholesale. I know that's a chain but I don't know how many locations they have. Comments (41)Wooo!!! Cat, I am stuck at home because of the snow storm so wandered around here not looking at anything in particular and came upon your thread. I totally agree with you on the shower curtain choice. Regardless of whether I have the money to spare or not, keeping those suckers clean is a nuisance over time. We have a glass shower door that was installed back in 2003 and I can't tell you how much I hate cleaning it. Not that the door is all that dirty, but a shower curtain is way easier, and you can change the look/style whenever you feel like it. Can't do that with a pricey shower door. Anyway, everything looks lovely as usual, including the "prom" dress :-) Love, love those circular tiles, and the floor tiles that look like fabric. Gorgeous. What colour is that again? It looks greyish on my monitor....See MoreMedietrranean style bathroom finished! PHOTOS
Comments (13)I'm generally not a BLUE person either. My entire house is warm earth tones-- peach, gold, wood, russet. What I liked about the Utica tile was that even though it was blue, the turquoise and gold center were warm. The love bird mural picks up the gold in the Utica tile. We don't intend on selling this house so I wasn't looking at resale value in the remodel....See MoreUpdate dated bathroom (cream tile, oak and polished brass) w/o Reno
Comments (8)These are all very good thoughts! I’ve been looking on Facebook Market and Craigslist for used vanities or floor sample sale items, and I’ll continue to do that. We’ve been by a couple of warehouses that have items from demolition, but nothing has quite worked yet. Habitat for Humanity May be a good place to look though - we haven’t been there! For removing the shower door, I didn’t think of that for a full shower. Can that be done? I figured doors were necessary, and my husband didn’t like the idea of just covering the doors with a shower curtain. Getting rid of it could be good.. I think changing out the mirror, light and paint could be the first step to take sooner than later. Complication to white is that this tile is cream colored. See this pic to see the difference... still neutral at least! I think I can move forward with navy and gold accents, right?...See MoreRelated Professionals
