I purchased our travertine tile from them for our masterbath. I am very pleased w/ both the tile and the pricing--couldn't even come close to finding anything I liked better anywhere else, especially for the price. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Oh Lily, I'm pulling my hair out over my most recent on-line experience. First let me say, I've ordered many a rug on-line with great success, but my last order was my worse experience, and it was ordered from a most renown, reputable and upscale-ish home decor company. The rug arrived and I snipped open one end. What do I find? A tag with a completely different size other than the one I ordered. I called the company and they advise they had to call the distributer to verify if the correct size was pulled and did I want to reorder the correct size...huh? I was adamant that I was shipped the wrong size and could email a picture with the manufacturer's tag with size attached to the rug. The rep advised I had to "wait". Well, days later I was getting mighty worried and called customer service again. This second rep was more understanding and ordered the rug to be picked up. It's been a week and I still haven't received credit. Aside from all that, the quality of the rug was unbelievably inferior for what I would believe this company to offer. The pile was so sparse and short I couldn't believe my eyes. I guess I was fortunate the wrong size was delivered; otherwise I'd have the responsibility of shipping it back. If at all possible, trying finding it local first so as to first hand inspect color and quality.

This is my first post on the Decorating forum -- usually I hang out in Kitchens and Appliances. I just painted most of our small living room -- it will be 12'5" x 14'2"/14'10" after we move a wall. We need a small sofa to fit the scale of the room. Most of the sofas I've found either are 7' wide or loveseats, but the space calls for something in between. I did a websearch and found "Simplicity Sofas" which makes an "apartment sofa" that's 76" wide, looks very nice in the picture, is American made, and fits our budget. I can't find any reviews of the company and am reluctant to order a sofa sight unseen. Has anyone ordered from them? They seem shallower front to back than most sofas; are they comfortable? Or does anyone have any other recommendations for a 6' sofa in the $1,000 price range?

Be warned about $$$$ rug samples.... 1) they are non refundable 2)They offer a program where you can order samples and later have the cost of those credited to your order. They don't state this on the website but they only credit ONE SAMPLE and it must be the EXACT same color/product as the sample you ordered. I made the mistake of purchasing several expensive samples in order to compare the colorways, only to find out they'd only comp one. 3) Getting the credit for it is not easy, you have to call and get the supervispr to approve it. Perhaps I am spoiled, I am a trade customer and typically companies send free samples. These are $50 each! Would rather deal with the carpet manufacturer directly than through a third party such as "rugs direct".
