Looks like you will be busy with your new stuff! I like your swing too! Are you going to put different pic in each "pane" or 1 thing flowing from pane to pane? country scene-walking down road or stream & background etc. Guess would be lot harder doing 1 scene. Someone on mosaics did a river on her stair risers & it was beautiful! Keep us posted on your progress! Jan

Lass, of course, I'm not recommending leaving roses in band pots for extended periods, but I must tell you about Etoile de Mai, a tiny band I bought from Ashdown last September. Due to one thing and another it stayed in the band on my patio, in the enclosed porch during the freezes and back on the patio getting water catch as catch can and getting smaller (it was minute when it arrived!) and smaller until it became one "cane" about 2" long. I thought sure I was killing this rose that I really wanted (and paid good money for). In early April when I dug my new Niles Cochet bed I planted it. Etoile de Mai is growing and has buds on it. What can I say? They're tough. But I did lose a mini this way but it didn't last anywhere near as long as EdM under similar abuse. Sherry

I guess most all the people who have sold their houses have moved on from this forum. Usually the real estate agents have some real doozies to tell. My only story is that we lost power in our house for 24 hours two days before the house went up on the MLS. So just as we were frantically trying to finish up make the house picture perfect, we lost electricity, A/C (it was August) and WATER (we were on a well). We kept thinking that any moment the electricity would come back on - the power company was completely unhelpful with information. We slept in the basement that night on cushions from the outdoor furniture. An agent who had become aware of the listing called us directly to get a jump on seeing the house (height of the market). Talk about bad timing . . . I still feel bad about how I spoke to him.
