Marvin vs Pella vs Loewen vs Eagle

I have narrowed my window choice down to these 4 manufacturers. I have a mid 1960's colonial with about 30 original double hung windows all with thick true divided light. Although I like the the look of the TDL they are a pain to keep clean. So, our thought was to either put grids between the panes or have removable. Any thoughts on this? We do not want to lose the "character" of the current windows. Also, my Pella dealer told me that Pella has the best removable grids on the market. Can anyone confirm this? Lastly, what are the pros and cons of each window and which window overall is the best. I have received two quotes so far with Eagles and Loewens coming later in the week.

Pella-$25K for 10 tear outs and 20 Precision Fits (architect series fro both)

Marvin-$24K for 30 tear outs (all ultimate double hungs)

For thiose that might ask about Anderson. Their quote was $30K.
