any advice would be good

I am writting because I am not sure at this point what to do.

I was a single mom for 5 years. I never introduced men that I was casually dating to my daughter, keeping my mom life very different from my adult life. Over a year and a half ago, I met a man, and fell totally in love. He is the one, I know this. After about 9 months I introduced him to my daughter. They did wonderful. (He has two daughters that have lived in another state that he sees on holidays and summers) My daughter is 8. In May we moved with him. This was something that was talked about with my daughter, and she seemed very receptive to the idea. He and her formed a decent bond. They play well together, make Sushi together. Spend very good quality time together. This past summer was a bit chaotic for my daughter with the move, and then she spent a month with us and then the rest of the time with her dad. Which I may add that she fusses about going to her dads, and wants to be with us. That will be a whole different blog.

My daughgter returned a week and a half ago from her summer visit with her dad. My Guy has been working out of town durring the week, so it has been weekends that we are settling in to the blended family. Last weekend when he returned home from work, My child was a monster. Backtalking, thowing fits, slamming doors. She recently started lying as well. (she is a very bad liar I might add) I get that she is in a huge adjustment phase, and that she is trying to set her boundries. She is in a new enviorment, a new school, and she feels like she has to share the attention of mom. I get that. I am not going to make excuses for her bad behavior. I have tried diffent tactics, taking the things that she loves the most away..ect... but I guess I would love some advise, Is this normal? What am I doing wrong. How can I help her adjust in a positive manner? How can I help him also adjust to this instant family. This was talked about before we moved in together, he knows that I am a package deal. I guess I am just frustrated with the behavior, and need help.
