Oh thank you! I think you are right on the money, other pics I'm finding online look exactly like this... You've made my day! :-)

it was the most mighty gremlin of them all who deemed the thread off topic for this forum :-) You all were so nice that I came back this morning to look around and found this discussion. I fly out next month. I saved your good information in my email. I grew up in Wyoming, so the Paul Bunyan reference is a mystery that I will certainly check out. thanks again jc ~laughing~ if this one disappears too, the original poster will get an email from spkie explaining "why"

Nothing is lost, except Bkay's sanity. (Gigantic Smile here) Geez I wish I could have a dime for every double post, mistake post, or misspelling that I ever made here over the past 12+ years. Bkay you are NOT alone. Thank you Ludi for setting things straight so that Bkay can find out that she isn't going nuts, and that she did indeed see Steve's post. For those of us who hang around this site for years and years, we've seen (and done) it all. Happy July 4th to all. -Babka

It IS a very strange situation, indeed. And here's some more weirdness. None of the e-mails stay on the server...I double checked and everything was downloaded, per the settings. When I first started looking for a prog to replace WLM, I started using Outlook....but the e-mails were disappearing from the Inbox. I thought it was a problem with Outlook and even posted a query here on the forum. Never solved that issue, but disliking WLM more as time went on, I gave up on Outlook and thought I'd try Thunderbird. Then the same thing started happening! I had made TB the default and set WLM to NOT check automatically for mail....BUT...when I would open WLM to look at something in a folder there, it would check for mail on Startup and all my e-mails would show up. That's when all the messages in TB would disappear. When I realized this was happening, I opened Outlook, sent some test messages there and watched as they disappeared before my eyes when I opened WLM. Do you think maybe I'm incorrect about the mail staying on the server? Wouldn't I see it there when I go online to check?
