Looking for good reputable remodler for bathrooms, Austin,TX
Comments (2)Krissie, I highly recommend Matt Oliver at Oliver Custom Homes in North Austin. We just finished building a house with him and he is incredible. He also does a lot of remodels. We couldn't have been happier. His number is 845-0208. I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have about him. Comments (6)Don Young's thermally-broken aluminum window is a great choice for our area. However, DY has a poorly designed slider that doesn't keep wind drive rain out at high pressure. NT's twinsulator would be a good substitution if you have to use sliders in those openings. HC is not a window I would ever recommend. It's popular for two reasons: it's cheap and it's thin. The reason it's so thin is because there's not much vinyl in it which makes for a flimsy frame. Their most popular model also has a pocket sill which is a poor design, particularly for our area. I would urge you to stay away from HC altogether....See More2016 Lennox XC21 System Cost to install Austin TX Area
Comments (1)Pricing varies between different regions/ geographic areas as well as competitive forces at work...it is generally accepted that today's sweet spot for SEER is 15-16...when you go above that, you can never justify the price increase with the expected payback...just won't happen... Comments (7)For the record... I am in Katy, Texas. (LOL) If I lived in Austin, Texas I would probably be considered royalty or something... Prices? pointless ponder. If system breaks (and it will) your installer isn't paid by manufacturer to fix it. It costs money to stay in business. HVAC has huge up front costs any service provider with commercial trucks has huge expenses, in more ways than one. Be careful, with whomever you pick. The relationship should have value, if it doesn't you're blowing in the wind... a bad place to be in Texas heat if you ask me. (23 years talking here... there is very little I haven't seen 'first hand' in that amount of time.)...See Moreangiebangie
