Writing quality standards into contract for custom vinyl windows

Hi all,

I'm writing a request for bids including replacing windows in my condo apartment and want to include some minimum quality standards for the windows. I've decided on vinyl and have found some standards, but I wonder if I'm going overboard or if these standards even apply to custom-sized windows (which is what I need). Here's what I've written:

"Contractor to replace all windows in apartment with new double-hung, double-pane, argon-filled, heat-welded vinyl frame windows, with tilting sashes, matching color of old, including new screens. Vinyl should conform to AAMA 303 standard and windows should conform to AAMA 101/I.S.2 standard. Windows should come with lifetime manufacturer's warranty and use constant force balance (titanium coil)."

Is that too much, will contractors think I'm slightly crazy? Am I missing anything big?

Thanks for any advice.
