The Integrity is the Wood/Ultrex combo and as far as I can tell, it seems to be my best quote. As for the Infinity, it's really hard to tell if their quote was good since they are the only Infinity dealer in the area. I'm leaning toward the Integrity strictly based on the cost difference. BTW, the doors from both the Marvin lines are for the same door; Integrity nor Infinity didn't offer so they quoted a traditional Marvin. Thanks for your suggestions. pella windows will leak, stay away from them, there is a huge class action suit against them at the moment because they are leaking behind the aluminum cladding and rotting the windows marvin make a great product, also take a look at jeld-wen

Thanks for the responses. I have read a lot about Pella and Marvin. Am I likely to find better prices by getting quotes from various Marvin dealers? Strange thing about Pella, and granted my experience is very limited, but I have original 1974 Pella double paned windows in my mountain house that have been great. No rot, no condensation between the panes. We should probably replace for upgraded energy efficiency, but we have had no problems and I guess I was inclined to go that way based on my previous experience despite what I have read. Would like to go with Marvin, but not sure about the cost, which makes me wonder how much we could potentially save by shopping around with various dealers.

My daughter has purchased a new home with 50 year old double hung windows that need to be replaced. It is a colonial home in Massachusetts several miles from the coast. She is trying to decide between the Anderson 400 series and the Marvin Integrity. She wants to stay with the same traditional 6 over 6 white double hung windows. Any thoughts on which is better - the Marvin Integrity, or the Anderson 400 Series?
