she made this in summer school and i just had to come share its a paper mosaic its really cute I am framing this one

Thanks for looking and liking :) I used thin set for my first one and exterior liquid nail on my fence. For the fence I found large tiles at a garage sale that I broke in pieces and some pool tiles that were left over from when we built our pool. I found the glass pieces and the small rocks at the dollar tree.. They had a lot of colors to choose from.. I put a sealer on the first one and will on my fence too when it's done. Thanks again, I love seeing what all of you have done.. I wish I could see everyone's mosaic's on one post..

Thanks for the kind words, Mags! I have a pistol grip cutter lined up, and trying to decide if I will need a glass grinder for my next project. I am going to try to use larger pieces of glass for my two koi fish that will be on the surface of the fire pit cover. I found something very similar on a round fire pit cover (mine is a semi-circle shape), and I liked how this gal used larger pieces of glass for the koi. So, not sure if I can get smooth curves with a glass cutter and nippers, or, if I would be better off using a grinder to smooth out the pieces. Still so many newbie questions, sigh, lol!! Going down to a couple of glass stores this weekend, to try to buy the glass for the project. I may just bring cash, and leave the credit cards at home. I suspect it may be a bit like a kid in a candy store scenario :-) Patty S.

we did a stepping stone the other day it didnt turn out exactly right peices of our hear shifted but it is so shiny i just had to use it in my path between the housesill post pics when i get back from micheals craft store oh yeah does anyone know how to post a video clip
