We are doing a kitchen addition/family room renovation. Any experience anyone has had with the above three companies would be appreciated. All of my research has left me more confused.
I was under the impression that Loewen is a higher quality product, high energy-efficiency and security. Some forums have mentioned issues with Loewen customer service, however.
Marvin's bid has been less expensive than Loewen's, but I've read about issues with the quality of the product and customer service issues with them as well. Also, our local Marvin distributor is someone I'd prefer not to do business with.
Another builder has recommended Hurd but I read that Hurd declared bankruptcy last fall.
Help! If anyone can share their experience it would be helpful.
