Steel Casement Windows

We have a English Tudor Cottage style house built in 1940 with steel casement windows. The windows require maintenance every year and we have about had enough caulking, glazing, scraping, painting, not to mention frost on the inside, etc. and are looking for replacement windows.

I want to stay with the style of the house and can't find anything that looks similar. The windows are 4 panes across with the casement in the middle two. Modern casements don't look like this. We're now thinking fixed windows in front and awning over fixed on the sides to near maintain the look.

I'm looking at fiberglass as it's stronger and the framing is thinner, closest to the thinness of the steel.

This has really slowed me down, not wanting to ruin the historic look of the house. Has anyone else addressed a similar situation?
