OMG!!!! I think your computer going bust might have been a blessing. Those are sooo nice!! Bunnies - I have to do a bunny. First Calamity stuck one in my mind and now you're putting two more in there. Stop it girls!! LOL!

And the birdhouses. Did you make the form or did you buy them? I need a few of those too. Those are precious!

All such beautiful pieces. Glad to have you back on track though. So when's the next computer breakdown happening so we can be forewarned that some more wonderful projects are coming our way via pictures??

OHMYGOODNESS - look who's talking about record speed??? Those are FABULOUS. Is that the same bunny CALAM mosaiced, and put a bunch of carrots in it's hand? Isn't it the truth about getting more work done if we don't have a computer to take hrs. of our time, but I absolutely can't STAND it when mine has trouble, and wail to high Heaven and drive my HM crazy until it's fixed. The flower-shapes - are those stepping stones? It must be very heavy, but you have one hung on your house????? Did you pour them into a mold yourself? Love that shape. Great job on all pieces.

# Weeks!!! I was down for 4 days and just about went mental!...okay, left myself open there....anyways I feel for ya! But talk about making lemonade!!! I have like 6 birdhouses to get to, and yours are super inspiring!!! And what's not to totally love about those adorable bunnies!!! Where did you get those cool flower base shapes??? And that little stand will be awesome mosaiced!!! Good job!!!! Very inspiring as usual!!!!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments. I was fortunate that my hubby works with a computer savvy kid who is not afraid to stick his hands into the guts of the computer to figure out what was wrong with it. Although I did have to wait patiently for him to return from vacation to install the new hard drive, it was much cheaper (no labor charge) to fix than it would have been to take it in someplace to get it fixed. The crazy thing was my daughter bought her laptop a month after I got my computer and HER hard drive went a month before mine. Our tech kid had her order a faster hard drive but her laptop wouldn't work so she had to return it and her new hard drive came in the mail the same week mine did so Chris was able to fix both computers at the same time. Let me tell you, 2 people living in the same house who are hooked on the internet yet unable to get their internet fix is not a pretty sight!!!! My DD and I got Chris a nice gift certificate to thank him for fixing them because he wouldn't accept money from us.

Tiffy, Jane's bunny is what inspired me to do mine! I found the standing bunny at the Big Lots by my house that was closing, and the other bunny is a paper mache one I got at the TS before Easter. I did have a problem with the ear being a little loose but once I grouted it and it dried, it seems to be okay now.

The small birdhouses I got from Dollar Tree, and the bigger one I got at Michael's. The bigger one was my first project using broken dishes and the edges are kinda sharp on it. I tried sanding the edges which helped some but they are still sharp in some places. It was a real bugger to grout. Now I have a tumbler so hopefully I won't have that problem again in the future.

The flower shapes are wooden ones that I got last summer on clearance at JoAnn's. The center of it was a chalkboard. I started the pink one last summer and I put the mirror tiles on the raised edge and then my creativity burned out. I pulled them out again and forced myself to just start glueing on glass and quit trying to "plan" the design. The purple one I did kinda plan the design first. I was going to use them for candles but my SIL saw them when she was here on Mother's Day and she bought them both to hang on the wall to reflect the light off the mirror tiles. I did trace the pattern first so I can have my DH cut out more plaques for me.

Barb, your work is beautiful! Bunnies are so cute! I love the flower wall plaques the most; just love your design and glass choice. Did you seal your birdhouses prior to glueing? If so, please tell what you did. I have 3 houses here that I have not started because I haven't sealed them.

Glad you found an alternative for mental sanity while living without a computer.

Sorry about your computer, but boy did you get some work finished!! Everything looks great!! I especially like the bunnies though.....

Thanks ever so much for the info Barb. I'll have to look at Michael's for a birdhouse, but might actually make one since I have some plywood in the basement. On second thought, buying one would be much quicker... Gotta get to the mosaic part fast you know.

And I have to find a bunny this summer!! Must have BUNNY!

Love all of them. I really love the purple and turquoise. Those are beginning to be my favorite colors. The bunnies are darling.

Funny how we can get so much done when we are forced to be off line. But oh the agony of it all. Been there done that. We are now the old lap top home for retired laptops, whispering all five of them, SSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so even if I have to go back down to an old 233 MMX I can still get on line. Hubby would be down my throat to DO SOMETHING if he could not get on his computer. Hehehe This from the man that a few years ago hated them.

Love all your flower shapes the best. But everything is beautiful. My sympathies about the PC. I couldn't handle that one. No wonder you have so much done, LOL!

Thanks for sharing about your Dad. Yes - my Dad is on oxygen too. Supposedly they are filing something with the govt as he served 2 wars on a ship & the asbestos is in his lungs but the govt don't give - it's only good for taking money & growing bigger.

D3bbi, I did seal the birdhouses first with wood sealer. Then I used Weldbond on the 2 smaller ones, and GEII on the broken dishes on the taller birdhouse.

Tiffy, the birdhouses at Michael's are $4.99 and I used a 40% off coupon to get them. I knew it would be faster than waiting for my hubby to make some for me!

Shades...yup, it's a nightstand. I got it for a buck at a garage sale last summer and it was covered in stickers, markers and spilled nail polish. I just sanded it, primed and then painted it. I don't have any place to put it right now so I just mosaiced the top of it. Tried to keep it neutral so that if I need a gift for someone I'll have one made up already.
