Lincoln 4 panel slider and french door?

Have searched and read some of the posts concerning lincoln windows. Have gotten some conflicting information concerning their durability, and it may have improved recently. Is there anyone with recent experience with their doors.

Considering Lincoln for a 10 ft 4 panel slider and a French door.

The other door I am considering is the Marvin Integrity/Full Line but they are definitely more expensive (7.5k versus 5k for Lincoln). The salesman really thinks the Lincoln door gives the most bang for the buck. I am buying Integrity windows, but the Lincoln external bronze matches the Integrity's.

We are converting our garage into a living space and taking out the garage door and thinking of putting in a four panel french slider. Any recommendations on a manufacturer and materials? We are in the Los Angeles area so we get very little weather and the garage is north facing so it doesn't have direct sun. Thought that may play into your decision. We are close to the beach though so corrosion can be an issue. If you have any other ideas on how to turn the garage door opening, into a more residential opening, please feel free to share as well. We are open to ideas!

I have one. I'll try to remember to take a pic tomorrow. Ours is 8 ft. high. I like the door and the fact that it opens to a large opening. The latch has been touchy as far as adjustment and it's only single point. The screens do not impress me - same old rollers and track thing that I've seen on cheaper doors. We got the low threshold as the door is well protected and we're not in hurricane country.

Both 3 panels look fine, it depends on how much of the view you want to see. Unsolicited advice; buy a "heavy duty frame" screen door that comes with much better rollers. The standard screen doors that are included don't last very long.
