The IKEA Ekby Hensvik shelf bracket (it's white) is no longer made but can be found on eBay. I painted them the same shade as my wood cabinets (stripping, staining, & varnishing was too much trouble) and tacked them under with electric drill and 2 screws. It upgraded the whole look. You might use wrought iron brackets for a rustic look if you have wrought-iron cabinet hardware Check IKEA or eBay for other styles of affordable shelf brackets you could hack for this look.
