I have Kilim Beige in several rooms in my house and there is no pink at all in this color. The perfect neutral in my book!

Have seen Kilm Beige used several times, have never seen a pink tinge. HTH.

Every home is different. There may be something in their environment that causes the KB to read pinkish. Or, it could be their eyes. Color is subjective. If it doesn't read pink on your walls, it doesn't matter what anyone else says.

I actually had this paint chip in hand today at SW while waiting for my DR & Hall color to be mixed! Looked good to me until I started picking up other neutrals and then thought that KB sort of took on a Flesh tone which I detest.

Just another example of what looks good in one light/ home/ eye can and often will look differnt in another light/ home/ eye. You won't know until you either paint or sample. At $5-6/ sample at SW I'd sample it first.

My front siding exterior is 50% kilm beige & 50% divine white or whatever the lightest shade was on that paint strip. It has no pink in it I call. Here is the siding color. Hope this helps! Bonnie

I used Kilim Beige in my last house in a room with old, beige carpet that had a pinkish tinge. In certain lights the Kilim Beige did look a little pink against that ugly carpet. It really does depend on the light, the flooring, the fabrics, etc. I loved Kilim Beige in other rooms. If you're really worried about pink, take a look at SW Softer Tan, which has no pink tones---maybe a little green, but no pink.

I think it definitely depends on the lighting in the room. I tested it in our living room with dark wood floors and it did have some kind of flesh/slightly pink tinge to it. As ttodd suggested, I would definitely put up a big test swatch.

I definitely see pink in it. You might want to look at SW Nomadic Dessert.

thanks for the advice.. i bought a sample of softer tan today and grassland for kitchen.. i think ST will go better with the sage i'm using.. here we go!

Half kilm beige/half divine white has never looked pink on my porch , maybe it's because we are facing the afternoon sun. I would agree to try swatches out on your wall & look at them different times a day until I was sure of my paint selection. I have normadic desert also in my craftroom & DH's office/guestroom.
