If they were "timeless" we would have seen them prior to the last 5 years. They will probably be out of date about the time they start appearing in EVERY living room. Trendy. If it were me, I would look for less expensive copies (and they are out there everywhere)and go with those. That way the cost you paid for them will ease the pain of them going out of sytle or just plain getting tired of them.

Is your current entertainment center three pieces? Your plan drawing looks like you just pulled your current set up apart. I think that would look better than the odd sofa table that is to the left. It needs to be removed for sure. I think separating the three pieces you have could work. Floor lamps will work better for you than random tables. Your drapes are fine as they are. Do you NEED that much seating? Perhaps losing two of the chairs would lighten the load of the room? Give you some options for that sofa table to sit behind one of the love seats?

So much better, so glad. 1. You could place your dresser on other wall as you enter and move chair to opposite side and create a little reading area. May have to play around with accessories, art, proportions and layout. Keep experimenting to get it right. 2. You could move chair closer to window, switch dresser to that wall and add a bench with large art on opposite wall. Then add crystal lamps to nightstands and you’re done. Pretty room!

Yes, I agree, the shade is out of scale for the base. It needs to be bigger. I do think the base is a bit large for the width of the table it's on, but not awful. Get a larger shade, take the circle item down and then reassess.
