Ademink, Thanks for the pictures, also with these I'm getting wiser! I'll start another topic about these cones because there's a strange situation going on... This Abies koreana cultivar isn't a 'Horstmann' but a 'Silberlocke' To be complete: Abies koreana 'Silberlocke', in the past as 'Horstmann's Silberlocke' Abies koreana 'Horstmann'is a complete differend one and is a dwarf seedling selection. Ida, I was there on Wednesday and neglected to look at their markdowns which are usually a great buy as they have quality plants. Take care of that hyssop because we will all want a piece come spring! Hope to see you at Annie's on Sept. 29, 2013.

Hello Garden Web. I have been silently following posts and exploring this site for a couple of months since I came across it during our search for quality furniture. The information and advice you all share is phenomenal! So I am asking for your help. I am trying to figure out whether this is a worthwhile purchase of leather furniture secondhand. I have seen the set and it seems to be in very good condition with some signs of wear along the back edges. Brand is Lane. Set is a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottoman, all in a medium brandy/brown aniline protected leather all over; traditional styling with rolled arms. Seat cushions are removable and all cushions have zippers. Back cushions are semi-attached. Sinuous wire support. I think the seat cushions are the kind with pocket coils encased in foam. The owners said was $4,300+ new a few years ago and they are asking $2,000. Is that a good value for Lane? I've read mixed reviews on this brand and would appreciate some guidance. My biggest concern about Lane is that it does not have a hardwood frame (plywood), and the brand seems to have a terrible reputation for its reclining pieces and customer service. At what price point is Lane a good value, or is it just not worth it? This post was edited by Susijo on Sat, Jan 3, 15 at 1:16

Haha, I should probably say that I don't have any experience with this.. but what I have read about it makes sense so I only buy one tip cuttings. I don't know where to find the post, but there was a member here saying she only bought one tip plants for this reason. In her experience, one tip plants bloom sooner because your young root system can support and supply a single tip much better than two or multiple tips. A single tip will grow faster and reach bloom faster. All of my new single tip plants are growing much quicker than my multiple tip plants, but none of them are blooming so I have no proof this is true, lol. But it makes sense I guess..
