I take my bottles to the bandsaw and cut off the bottom. Aren't bandsaws wonderful for a lot of things-LOL! Then I have been just putting them in a plastic bag until I get enough to make something. I have only cut one into a flower, with scissors, to see what I could do with it. They are easy to do.

Oh my goodness girls! I'm thrilled w/your compliments! I'm a sucker for blue & purple together. I have tons of blue glass just waiting to be glued!! The purple? I've lucked out with the pcs. I have. I've scoured flea markets (which I think they are very high priced) and yard sales etc. My eye goes for purple, blue, red & green. The topper is a Martha S. Christmas ornament that I took the hanging thing out of. I love the cracked glass. Bought a few on clearance two years ago & wish I'd bought more. Not sure what the purple flowers are ~ I looked for the little pokey thing that comes with it that tells what it is. It must be buried underneath. Anyway, it didn't bloom forever (even though I watered it like crazy), but now all of a sudden it's gone hog wild! LOL
