Hi all, I went to greenmart last saturday. and got A.Hexapetalus, Jasmine, Aglaia, Osmanthus and sweet osmanthus. Almost all the plants no-clue bought. All of them were with flowers filling the car with fragrance the whole trip I got 30 min to do my shopping .Not a lot of time to go through the nursery with kids and family waiting in the car. I forgot to ask them about ceylon cinnamon. I have been looking for this plant for last two years.Came to know that they carry this plant too through one of my other post. I bought all these plants but still sad for making that stupid mistake. Hi bunti, I know how you feel.. Did you get A.Hexa. Those plant are very big. Try to get them so you will have flowers soon. I love SAN DIEGO!!! I went there two years ago and hubby and I are taking our three kids there again in March. So much to do! Legoland, Wild Animal Park, if you go north to the LA area, make sure you visit the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Other than the chance to see the pandas, I didn't really think The San Diego Zoo was all that great, but Balboa Park is a huge city park (the San Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park) with a lot to do in a very beautiful setting, about twenty different museums and attractions. Then there is Seaworld, of course. Tidepooling at La Jolla Cove is the best. Old Town State Park is a good way to kill an hour or so and get a relatively good dinner at a reasonable price. I could go on and on. I stayed at Paradise Point Resort, it's on its own island in the middle of Mission Bay. Beautiful (but pricey).

There is alot to see. If you go up interstate 5, that will take you up fast, 101 is scenic, but bad traffic. I personally would avoid LA area, Ventura has a nice mission, as does Santa Barbara. Bakersfield is nice also. Around Santa Nella is good, If you have children look for Montery Bay aquarimarine. Go to Auto Club and discuss what you want to see. Also go into the motels/hotels in your area and look for broucheurs. No matter where you go it will be fast heavy traffic. Go to the library, and look for Sunset Magazine. Lots of ads etc as the Coastal Mag also

Solana Succulents in Solana Beach is off the 5 fwy near the S.D. fairgrounds (about 1/2 mile N.) The owner Jeff has written a couple of popular succulent books recently. Rainbow Gardens Nursery is more inland in Vista. The kind of plants you are looking for also. This is also the Original (Rainbow Gardens) book store. If you want books, this is a Must See!
