this is to flamingo in ar: this is from craftylinda: the book is 80 pages long. They say to use wool felt, which I did, it's a little heavier than regular felt. You can use some regular felt on some things. It has a lot of differnt fairies, which are very pretty. It also has a lot of other dolls. The dolls are sized from 1 1/2" 2 12/" 3" 3 1/2" and 4" is the tallest. They have men, ladies, and children dolls. They have Hansel, Gretel, and a witch doll. They have a Royal Family -- king, queen, prince, princess knight, jester, and a wizard. They also have a Harvest Folk group -- shown on a page with fall pumpkin houses(not included in book) parents, boy, girl, mother & baby, older kids. They have a page called the Driftwood Clan -- shows a rustic house (plans not in book) shows all differnt size dolls -- boys, girls, parents, babies, twins, pirate -- 17 dolls on that page. Also has a page of felt pins --all are appliqued & beaded - the shapes are round, oval, hearts, 1 shows a small fairy on a fall leaf -12 in all. Another page has small felt appliqued purses(looks more like wallets_ 8 styles. Another page has felt appliqued checkbook holder and cellphone cover. Another page has felt appliqued Balsam Pillows - 3 designs. Another page has a 3D look felt appliqued picture -- size says 8" x 11" -- has 2 color border - house on hill with tree & leaves, sky -- bottom half is rectangle garden with flowers, boy, girl, dog, bottom has 3 fall leaves. Last page has a square 7" x 7" picture -- main color & then border color - 6 differnet fall leaves, center leaf has a fall fairy on the leaf sleeping. I hope theat helped answer your question. A new jamb was often added over the split jamb on the pocket door side of the opening, then the trim (casing) moved onto it. Short of prying some things apart there may be NO indication there is a pocket door concealed in a wall. I have removed any number of casing pieces to find the doubled up jamb underneath that hid long forgotten pocket doors. You are then left with how mch wrk you want to do to try and restore them. May of the older ones ran on brass tracks in the floor (long since removed) and metal wheels in the door bottoms (sometimes just pushed back into the pocket and buried). I even came across one that had an iron X shaped expanding linkage in the pocket that extended the door out of the pocket (track rod with sliding pieces on the side of the door and far end of the pocket). It was a nightmare to repair instead of replace. A huge version of the small bathroom mirrors you can pull out to bring them closer.

Thanks so much for the ideas - I didn't think to check non-plant surfaces, but that is a great idea. Also to note if it is only on upper leaves or if it is on all leaves, including covered leaves. Unfortunately, before I got a chance to do either, we had a good hard rain. So now I have a clean slate at least, and can monitor when/if/how the substance returns... No helicopters nearby - I can't think of other non-biological possibilities than city mosquito spray, church roof a/c, or neighbor with a pressure washer. When things dry out, I might put out a few sheets of white paper in various locations and see if any collects on those, and if in any differing amounts to maybe get an idea of directionality.
