Yes, a very pretty little bottle. I'm not sure you even need to grout it. Let us know how the grouting goes over the plastic rhinestones; I'm curious because I've thought about plastic accents but wondered if the grout would scratch them.

That is just beautiful. D3 - the grout does scratch the plastic. I'm slowly learning to save spots to put beads on after grout cuz it just takes the shine right off them. Another way to use these things is to use black GE II to put them on, and be generous so you'll have your black w/o grout.

Oh sure slow...now you tell me!!!! Where might I get black GE II???

I was kinda wondering if the grout might hamper the shine on the beads but figure if I work careful maybe I'll get lucky!! (ha ha) It may just stay the way it is or I'll try to syringe in some clear GE II like Rosemary (I think) did.

shrty411 I got the rhinestones at Michaels crafts. They have them in a lot of different sizes in the bead department.

It was a fun fast project so either way- grouted or ungrouted it will have been worth it. I will let you know how it works out if I grout

Looks soooooooo pretty even w/o grout. Black GE II at Lowes. It's what I used for grout on "Shea's Mirror" in my album. It's like self grouting as you put them on - one step. You could even syringe that in or use unsanded grout - sticky yes, but wouln't scratch the shine off.

SOooooooooo Pretty !! But I Have to warn you ... almost any glue you use will eat away the silver backround on the jewels and they will become VERY dull. I've been dealing with this ever since I Started doing stained glass . I used jewels on my mosaiced shoes - hoping that GE II wouldn't eat away the back. It did . gggrrrr.... I was 'told' that Weldbond won't - but I haven't tried it yet to see. Since those "oopsies" I've only been using jewels that I have removed the silver backing from - the color stays and they are see through then. Great for GOG ! How do you get the silver backing off ? Soak for a few hours in Liquid Plumb'r. !!!! Hope that hint helped !

PS - I Forgot to ask - has anyone else used a type of glue that won't eat the silver back off ?

Very pretty! The quarter pic shows how tedious that must have been! Did you have to use a tweezers to set them?? I "grouted" one of my candle shelters with clear GE II. I squirted it from a caulk gun into the corner of a ziplock bag, cut a TINY hole in the corner and squeezed it out like cake icing.

I didn't know they made BLACK GE II! Newsflash! Thanks!

I went to lowes today and they have quite a few colors. Black, white, tan , gray, and copper. Can't wait to try it!!! (I bought the black)

TMG- I am bummed that the silvering on the back of the stones is going to come off eventually. I hadn't thought of that...I was kinda of hoping to use some on my mannequin. I will remember the liquid plumber idea.

ladieronnie- It really wasn't tedious, it went really fast..maybe cause its so small.

I did decide not to grout it..I a want the shine to last as long as possible. Especially if the silver will eventually come off!!

you think that maybe some clear nail polish would coat and protect the back of the beads?
rather than take the time to get the silver off the back of them..a couple of coats of the nail hardener or something may work...??

I Never tried that - it might just work !

I have used a clear nail top-coat on some beads that were dulled by the grout. It shined them right up!! But...so does brush on super glue. You can get it in the nail polish aisles (leftover from my pretty nail days!!).
