Just saw this and didn't see it posted, so here it goes. ExpressDecor.com is have a nice 15% off sale on all Kraus items. It goes on all weekend until Tuesday at 10am EDT. I just scored a faucet/sink package that I've been watching.

I'm really torn about staging. I understand why, and quite frankly, the overall process is rather fascinating to me ... but another part of me feels that if someone is too darn dense to see past furniture and paint colors, that person is potentially too daft to enter into a contract of sale! Maybe that's mean of me to think (yeah, I'm pretty sure it is), but I just can't quite wrap my mind around not being able to see a space and its potential. OK, if a place were completely packed to the gills with all sorts of clutter and junk, I certainly understand the need for weeding out and pulling together a pleasing arrangement before buyers view the property. I guess what kinda irks me, though, is what I've see on the HGTV staging shows, where the "expert" will walk into a spare bedroom that perhaps houses a desk and a treadmill and sputter in shock, "What is this room supposed to be, anyway? Is this a bedroom? If so, I want to see a bed in here!" Jeez. Like people are really that ignorant that they don't recognize a space for what it is intended to be, or what it could be? I realize I haven't exactly addressed Joanna's question about this particular loft -- but maybe in a roundabout way I've expressed my rather two-faced views of staging overall. ;-)

Kraus brand faucet/sink?

I had a kraus kbu14 sink installed under my quartz countertop on December 18, 2014. When plumbing was going to be hooked up, I noticed round hole cut out for drain was not stamped out uniformly and drain and strainer did not sit in flush or straight. One side sticks up. Kraus sent two other drain/strainers which just arrived on December 30. One was a different color than the sink and the other, there was a space between the hole and drain - defeats purpose of strainer. Kraus agreed my sink was defective and would replace my it. January 5 new sink arrived. Turns our it was someone's return from August. Their paperwork was in the box. The sink was not in the box correctly, drainer and parts scattered all over. Tape everywhere. That sink was also defective, probably why it was returned. I had a real hard and frustrating time dealing with Kraus. Turns out they do not stand behind the guarantee of the workmanship of their products.

JCPenney, not just for today, but TOYTIME is the coupon code for additional 15% off your order. AND, if you choose to have the item delivered to the store for p/u, shipping is free. The site is painfully slow today. I was not able to complete my order earlier, I'm currently trying again in another window. It just keeps timing out during the checkout process. Annnddd....it just gave me the ol' "please try again in a few minutes", what, is this the queue to buy Penn State tickets online? NO! It's Penneys! ugh! and upon further inspection, it cleared my cart!

good luck Missi. I would address the spots quickly. I see that the new ones that appear come off rather easily with a lemon and baking soda followed by a microfiber cloth. I went back over the heavier marks with barkeepers friend and microfiber and many of them came up... I'd be careful with barkeepers friend, though, as it did remove my finish on a few spots -- I may have wet the cloth too much with it. But I would also try the cleaner vinmark suggested. I feel a lot better knowing I can change that sink out if I find the right person to do it so I'm not as upset as I was before. I had a Franke, Dawn and Kohler -- this is all new to me. Never again with Amazon or overstock for me on anything I need to last. My lesson learned.

We ordered our faucet last September, and just missed the Labor Day weekend 15% off. We still got 10% off though. Expressdecor always has coupon codes for 5% to 15% off, though 15% is more rare.

Thanks for posting this. After all my agonizing and finally deciding to go with my big pre-rinse style faucet, we (husband and I together) decided NOT to get it right now... We're both still afraid it will look too over the top, plus we're really starting to feel the sticker shock right now and are trying to save money wherever we can. We decided to get a cheap faucet that we wouldn't mind changing out in a year or two, and found this much smaller, less expensive but still kind-of pre-rinse style one by Kraus... Hubby likes it, I'm on the edge because it feels like sort-of getting what I want, but not, you know? But 15% off was enough to push me off the edge :D so I ordered it Saturday w/ the coupon code.
