I first feel in love with these plants when I purchased a wonderful Thanksgiving Cactus in December. I brought it home and repotted it immediately. Unfortunately it dropped a lot of blooms, so I started reading about them (we all live and learn). It will probably need to be repotted into better soil soon, but it is doing great for now. It has grown two segments since then and always has a flush of new growth. My Christmas Cactus came from a local nursery and had only one bloom when I purchased it. The soil it was in was hard as a rock so I soaked it and completely replaced all the soil with a lighter mix (AV mix with extra perlite and pumice). It is also growing very well. I am fairly new to houseplants, but have had good luck with amarylis and African violets in the past. I love to work in my flowerbeds outside and miss that during the winter months. I have purchased a couple of houseplants this year because of photos I saw on GW. Hopefully they will survive. ;)

Oh...I LOVE seeing Teegan all decked out for Easter! Wow, her tray'scape is loaded for Spring! Love it! That cute, cute lady bunny is so sweet & those slippers, wish they came in BIG sizes! LOL! The eggs in the cloche idea...sweet! And her own size egg tree! (I think you're spoilin' the girl!) tee hee! OMgosh, PM...you have the most wonderful collection of bunnies! Always love your mantle...that pair there leapin' & playin'...way cute! And in your bay window...another area I am oogling over (always)...love those white ones & how you used the pastel colors! Is the 'bunny bath' something new? Those choc eggs & 3 bunnies are just darling! I'm calling it a bird bath but don't know really what it is but I am absolutely in love with that!!! The Bordello dishes in your kitchen are my absolute fav Bunny motif...just beautiful & that runner you scored recently (I think) works beautifully! Oh, I could on & on, PM...I think you need to add some pics in another post, too ..you have done so much here! The curio cabinets you changed out, too! Wow, what a collection...those baby chicks, everything! I hope you leave this seasonal display out for a long, long time! It shouts Spring & Summer!!! Love that you did the Baker's Rack outside!!! (I worked on mine a bit yesterday for Spring/summer here!) I see you added some of those 'sparkly' eggs in cloches in your kitchen w/a cute bunny in another cloche...very colorful! Love it! You've created so many beautiful vignettes & it's hard to choose a fave but I think this one on your counter is absolutely beautiful: Wow, Easter is only 2 wks away...& you're all ready!! Hi Candy, I'm so glad Karen invited you over here! We really enjoyed your pictures she shared with us, you have some beautiful ceramic items. I'm sure you probably collect lots more than just the bunny and Easter items, so hope you will show us some of those too. Since it's sometimes a long time between holidays, we like to do tablescapes, vignettes, or just share pics of things we've found on our shopping trips even. So please jump right in and join us--and tell us more about yourself too if you want. For instance, do you only collect certain things or a variety? What part of the country are you in? Marlene the large bunnies on the buffet are a couple I picked up while out ys. I didn't have many before coming to Holidays. Now I don't pass them up! Karen, I knew you had something to do with Jas signing my book, "The Energizer Bunny". His book sits in our LR and I tell all what an amazing, inspiring guy he is! Love the part he wrote "Never Give UP" too. There is times that I to think I should open a store instead of donating so much.haha However, I would share with anyone who wants to come visit! Creek, decorating the outside was pretty easy. Alot of the eggs have wires so all I did was hang them up! So quick compared to tying the string ones. I'm thinkingif I go shopping after Easter, I will pick up more for next year. I know I have more out in the shed tho.LOL I will always Treasure my book "Burning Shield" signed by Jas. Nana, not a clue how many Bunnies I have! Looking forward to seeing your new one that hopped in this year! Always wonderful to know the decor brightens someones day.
