The Homeperfect site is working today. If you think you didn't get what you paid for and you are concerned about durability, then I'd return it. The number on their website is 1-888-850-3999. (That might be a sales line; they should be able to give you a customer service number. Also there should be a number in the paperwork you got with your order.) If the description on their website didn't specify whether it's the I or II model then that wouldn't necessarily be a reason to return it (in their minds) but you also have the issue with the scuff mark that you could use as a reason. If the description did have a model number that's different than the model number on the box you received, that's certainly a valid reason for a return. I'd also call Blanco's customer service rather than waiting for an email response. Then you can have a live conversation about your concerns.

NyefNyef By "called Blanco", I meant I telephoned Blanco's US HQ and asked them to find me their sink within a 200 mile radius of my home. They pointed me to their regional sales teams, who could not locate it readily available, or in their nat'l warehouse. They said most of the time, nobody really stocks them and they're all custom ordered. No matter. Amazon & FedEx came thru. cal Ditto! My suspicion was that they weren't as good, just based on how often I see Blanco mentioned and never hear the other makers. And compared to what we've spent already on things, you're right that $100 is a small price to get exactly what we wanted exactly when we need it.

I ended up with a Silgranite, which I have had just a few weeks and I really like it. However, color-wise, I really liked the Elkay Quartech sinks. Whereas Silgranite is resin and granite, Quartech is resin and quartz. I would have been perfectly comfortable with an Elkay sink, because it is a very good brand, even though you hear so little about Quartech here on GW. Elkay doesn't really do any marketing to consumers they are a more commercial brand, which I think is the explanation for that. Anyway, I preferred the shape of the Silgranite sink so for me that ended up being the driving factor.

I had the Blanco sink you were considering in my last house and loved it. New house, and I just installed an Elkay Crosstown 33" single bowl stainless sink. As farn as the sink goes, I am mostly happy with the stainless sink, but I don't like the included sink grid, which is made of much lighter gauge wire with a larger size grid and sags under a heavy pot. It also is just a little too close to the sink bottom, forcing me to be careful about draining pasta. The Blanco sink had an awesome grid and it was never a problem to drain pasta. My first Blanco sink did indeed arrive broken. Shipping packaging was poor, and mine shipped over the coldest day of winter, making the sink extra brittle and likely to crack. Sink # 2 arrived with no problem. If you go with Blanco, order with a long lead time. If the Elkay includes a grid, take a close look at it before you buy.
