Trouble posting pictures

Have posted pictures in the past.

What has happened?

Can't find box at photobucket to check to get

the generate Html or whatever.

Have they changed things?

I tried the IMG choice that I use at other forums and

that does't work here.

Did I miss something?

Soso: I think you'll find what you're looking for at the bottom of your page of photos in photobucket.

Rosemarythyme,..........I hope this isn't just my photobucket account,
But the box I need to check under each picture is no longer there.

And after checking that box a page would come up that gave generate code and gave me 3 choices.

Is there another way to post pictures here??

Thanks Sue, Paul Bocuse always takes my breath away, I love that rose! I started with just 5 roses back in the Summer of '03 - now I'm at 200+ (mostly pot ghetto!) - and yep, The Princess rules the roost, though she knows that mommy is the rule maker, Daddy and the girls always falls for her tricks though! Randy - Charlotte is one of my best bloomers. She is so beautiful and healthy. I think she'll look marvelous next to Heritage, though here she's much taller for me and bushier. My Heritage is about 4 feet x 2, wheres Charlotte is 5x3 or wider. seil - thanks, glad to enable, considering as how I ended up with all my roses due to enabling here as well! Now to answer your questions. Bibi Maizoon is not a healthy plant. I have mine in a pot, moved it from the ground as it was not doing well, it's not a good bloomer, is loaded with rust, but the few blooms I get are gorgeous and the fragrance is heavenly, so I keep it. I got Sunday Lemonade from Roses Unlimited about 3 years ago. I think they still carry it. I don't like Vavoom, my plant is very diseased, the first few flowers were gorgeous, but the rest were not so great, the plant was never healthy. I'm getting rid of it this year. Aprille

ah, I see... but then I'm confused because I don't get a "Choose File" option on other people's posts. For posting on other people's posts (like this follow-up) I get a "Browse" button, not a "Choose File" button. Looking at the source, the "Browse" button is implemented through a normal POST/'file' type upload. Perhaps when you tried they were altering the cgi that implements it? have you tried since their recent changes?

sugarb, Do you have a photo hosting site like photobucket? If you tell us what you have available, we can help you post pics. I use photobucket. I place my pictures there, and when I want to post one here, I first left click on the HTML code under the pic, and it turns green. Then right click, and select Copy from the pop-up. Then come back to your post and simply paste the info your post below what you've written. All you see is a few rows of code, but when you Preview Message before placing it on this site, it'll show the photo. You can put multiple pictures into one post using that method.

Help1 Help! I can comment on the threads started by others ... ... but can't start one offering my own thoughts when they're different! Can you imagine O J with tape across his mouth? Well, not exactly "tape across his mouth", I guess, as he can speak, here. But can't put forth his ideas on other subjects. So I guess if he has a different idea, that's when the tape goes across his mouth ... and it's somewhat distressing ... ... especially as his family just had a 90th birthday party for him ... ... and he can't report on it! O.K., O.K. - so his birthday ain't till January. But daughter, mostly a U.S. resident, was in town last week for a few days. What ... does ... he ... have ... to ... do ... to ... start ... a ... thread? When he writes in the box "Start a discussion", it doesn't come here. ole joyfuelled

Soso~ I just went to my photobucket account and the check boxes are still there on mine. Have you tried logging off and back on again?? If it still doesn't work, here is the old way to type in the code yourself. We did this before luvs figured out to hit the 'generate html and img codes' button at the bottom of photobucket. :L)

To post pics on the gallery side:

You go down and write in your message to post like you want it. To insert a picture you type in this...

(but only put a space in between img and src. When I type it right it won't let it show here for some reason)

Now you want to go over to your photobucket page and you will see below the picture you want to post 3 things.... URL,TAG,and Img. You want to hilite the URL (it will start with http), then right click it and bring up the box where you can copy it. Hit COPY and then go back to your gallery message and right click where you left off typing the code and hit PASTE.

So then it will look like this:
Last step is to type "> at the end (right after jpg above). Remember there should only be a space between img and src.

Hope that works for you soso! can't wait to see your pics. I think there is another way to link right from your computer file, but I don't know how to do that. Anybody else?? ~Anj

Anj., thank you, you were right.
I logged off and then back in again and the boxes reappeared. So simple for the computer literate.
As you can see,,,,I am not one of them...lol.
There are now a few pictures with a new post.

I've had that happen to me also and just had to log off and log back on and the codes are there again. I don't know why it does it either and it is frustrating.
