Tiny garage door, tiny budget...now she's fancy!

I've been wanting to replace our garage door lately because it's just a standard, metal door but I can't justify replacing something that has absolutely nothing wrong with it, especially when there's so much else to do! So instead of spending a grand for a new door I spent $30 on ebay on carriage hardware (or "dummy hinges"), installed them and now the garage looks like a little cottage door :) I don't have the tool to get the silver lock handle off so I'll have to wait for the hubby to take care of that :)

They're super easy to install, just tape the hinges wherever you want them, predrill with a small bit and screw on the screws that come with them. MAKE SURE you don't straddle the handles between the panels as it won't be able to open (yes I have learned through error :). These are stamped steel with a powdercoating, online there are actually magnetic vinyl "hinges" that you can just stick on and don't have to put any holes in the door :)
