Shopvac housekeeping, 'Normal' for anyone else?

Not only have I hit the wall in the way of progress, I've become so accustomed to being overwhelmed that it seems normal and placid.

I realized this last night when I got out the shopvac to clean my kitchen floors installed several months ago, then on to vacuuming temporary countertop and SINK. Did a once over in the should be laundry room sans W/D with un-grouted tile since last summer. Lastly, around boxes that I refuse to open until things are "finished". They've been there nearly 2years.

*Snap* I have become completely comfortable with using a shopvac as my primary way of cleaning due to the crazy living conditions I call "Home".

Please tell me I'm not the only one?

It's plummeted past pathetic. I would also love to know what 'small' things have made the largest contribution, in the way of putting things "together", for those of you that have gotten past the sucky stuck stage.

TIA, I really appreciate it.
