I would freeze them individually wrapped, then all of them in a ziploc... And yes you can freeze the nanners..I do it two ways..for baking I freeze in the peels..just tossed into the freezer drawer..for smoothies I peel and freeze whole, then store those in a ziploc..that way I can easily break off 1.5 bananas for the boys smoothies..

Here's one, Rita, I think it could be filled with nearly anything from fruit to ice cream. It takes no leavening at all, just those whipped egg whites. I'd leave out that 1/8 tsp of salt, I can't see how it could possibly make a difference. This one doesn't use applesauce in place of fat because it has no fat other than in the eggs. You could also leave out the walnuts and cut the fat even further. I'm thinking it would be good with a cherry filling, like Black Forest Cake. Double-Chocolate Cream Roll From Light & Tasty INGREDIENTS 1-1/2 teaspoons shortening 5 eggs, separated 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 cup plus 2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar, divided 3 tablespoons baking cocoa 1/8 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 cups cold fat-free milk 2 packages (3.3 ounces each) instant white chocolate pudding mix or 2 packages (3.4 ounces) instant vanilla pudding mix 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen reduced-fat whipped topping, thawed 3 tablespoons fat-free caramel ice cream topping, divided 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, divided 1 tablespoon fat-free hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed SERVINGS 12 DIRECTIONS Coat a 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; line with parchment paper, coated with nonstick cooking spray. Can you stand another "linda tells how to do it recipe"? Because the only place this is written down is in a hand written cook book my mother made for me. Start with 2 big fat pork chops...or pork steaks...or shoulder...about 1 1 /4 pounds of meat. Brown it in a dutch oven and as it's browning add a lagre onion cut up and a good sized green bell pepper, chopped and 4 or 5 cloves of garlic also chopped. Brown slowly and when the meat is brown and the veggies soft, add about 1/2 cup dry red wine and 2 28 oz cans of plum tomatoes which you have torn up with your hands ( good for the skin....keeps the cuticles soft!) and 2 small cans of Contadina tomato paste ( no other brand!....and not the stuff with any "seasoning" in it)....conti ue to simmer and fill the tomato paste can with cold coffee and add that....and fill the other paste can with broth....beef or chicken doesn't matter. Add 3 bay leaves, a generous T. of fresh oregano...( or a tsp of dried)...same with basil...and 2 Tablespoons fresh chopped parsley ( or i T. dried)..and 1 generous Tablespoon of parmesan cheese... Simmer about 2 or 3 hours....adding more water if it gets too thick....check for salt and perhaps add some dried red pepper flakes. Break up the meat....remove any bones and serve....with or without the meat. Linda C

This is a recipe I picked up from the South Beach Diet forum. Baked Oat meal 1/2 cup olive oil 2/3 cup splenda (I think Splenda is bitter so I use Wheylow) 2 eggs 3 cups dry oatmeal 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup fat free milk 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon baking powder Wisk oil, splenda, and eggs. Add cinn, baking powder, salt, vanila and wisk again. Add oatmeal then milk and mix. Spray 9X9 cooking pan with non-stick spray. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Serving size 1/2 cup. VERY YUMMY! Variation: 1/4 c canola oil and 1/4c unsweetened applesauce, and 1/2c skim milk and 1/2c of plain yogurt. I did use 2 eggs. I think my glass baking dish is 8x8, and I baked it @350 for 30 mins. I think I could have baked it even longer to get 'crispier', but it came out great as is. small variation (not that this excellent recipe needs it) however since i have a piece of this daily it's nice to mix it up now again. I omit the cinnamon add 1/2 of blueberries, substitute the olive oil for 1 cup of apple sauce (I have those individual cup apple sauce on hand and use one whole one, i think its a cup. I have added a tablespoon of canola oil as well sometimes 2. Whey low brown sugar sprinked on top is nice too. Blueberries are in season and really go well with oatmeal.
