Welcome. You're quite a good artist. I note that you haven't posted any new pictures for a while. Are you still doing any paintings? I'm apparently north of you in zone 7-7a. Our Master Gardeners assoc. has a couple of greenhouses and a big plant sale in April with lots of vegetables. We'll be starting the pepper seeds in another week or two, but won't start the tomatoes for several weeks. We don't put them outside at all, so don't have to worry about late freezes. Hi Dani, and welcome! I'm in SE WI, just west of Sturtevant (west of Racine.) Where are you located, if you don't mind my asking? I've been viewing this forum for a couple of years now, but still consider myself an on-going learner, since so many people here know so much more than I do, esp. concerning hybridizing. There's no end to this addiction. I've told myself many times, I'm buying NO MORE new DLs unless I replace some old ones. Ha! That never works, because the people here keep posting more and more beautiful pics, and I say, "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT ONE!" So, I have no choice but to dig up more sod! (less grass to mow, more DLs to enjoy!) To post a photo here, you need to first upload your photos to a free image hosting site. Many people here use Photobucket, as I do. You can then post your pictures from that site to the GW forums. Let us know if you want help setting that up. I have a wish list with several hundred varieties, that I havbe to narrow down to 50, plus I have some seeds coming from the lily auction, that I have no idea where I'm going to put! Hi Cindee, Welcome. You will love it here. I've been M.I.A. since shortly after New Years, but will be commenting occasionally. I live outside in the summer. I come inside too late and tired to set a pretty table. Usually grab a sandwich on a paper plate or a bowl of cereal if I forgot to throw something in the crockpot that morning. Wish your DS never had to go to Iraq and I can understand your feelings. :( How about that talented Texas Posie cat...waving with her hind leg no less. LOL You may want to email some of your pet pics to one of us here who can post them for you, or give you clear instructions about how it's done.
