I alternate between Murphy�s Oil Soap and Dawn mixed with olive oil, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. It is my catch all spray specific issues I adjust. I dont care to use pesticides because while i don't want cockroaches, ants, ampids and spiders I do want my skinks, anoles, and frogs/toads to live happily in my garden. Not to mention if there is run off into my koi pond I have less worries.

Sarcasm aside, a good grandmother trick for cleaning out things like that is a healthy squirt of dish soap and a handful of rice or kosher salt. A bit of warm water, and some healthy cocktail-shaking or shekere-playing movements, then dump out the contents and rinse the bottle. It may take a few tries, but the rice or coarse salt scours the oil off the sides. C'mon Lou; it's a legit question. No need to urge someone to commit suicide. If you just want to pi$$ people off, there's got to be an easier way.

I made several more batches of soap and increased the amount of FO to a T. per lb and the soap is smelling better. I made a lavendar Oatmeal for someone and they loved it, I also made several bars of Baby Soap and it turned out great. When I reorder I will be getting from WSP. Now I am trying to refine my body butter. I like it smoother than most recipes make it. I have been experimenting with glycerin in my revised recipe. Also trying to cut down on how oily it can make your skin. My lip butters are pretty much the way I want just have to get them done (been waiting 2 wks for my flavor oils to come in from a seller on Ebay) Last but not least I am also fiddling with the bath bombs, I live in a very humid area and they have been cracking once set up. I am going to try a different recipe this weekend. I make them in medium size round ornaments. I really want them to be available for my show, I think they make a great addition to my other items. Well, sorry for the rambling but it helped me to organize my thoughts. I can't stop thinking about soap etc. Elle

Tsk, tsk. Thats what you get for letting the dog cook with olive oil. ;-) Clean as much of it as you can off, using something that will dissolve oil. I'd try to soak up as much as you can. Since its a drawer front, I'd take them out and try putting some kitty litter on to absorb the oil. This works well for garage floors. Let it sit for a day or so. Get as much of the oil out that you can. Then seal over it. An issue is that vegetable oils like olive oil can go rancid. They don't cure. So if you can, you want to get it out rather than leave it in the wood. John
