What else are they replacing besides the boiler? Circ pump(s) or zone valves, flow valves, regulator, expansion tank, low water cutoff, thermostat(s), sleeving the chimney, getting permits or running in and out????? If the system has a problem, will you be able to find them? If the contractor is just cutting 2 pipes and sliding a new boiler under the old system, you will get what you pay for. If he is bringing the system up to code and replacing old components you will most likely get a very reliable system but pay more for it. there ain't no free lunch. Weil Mclain makes a very good boiler. Smith is OK, Solia is not sold in my area. I'll let the oil guys fight it out over who has the best burner. Personally I like Beckett. The Weil McLain PWGO-5 boiler is a 175,000 Btu boiler. I hope you have a very large home in a cold climate because that is a lot of boiler. Are you replacing an old 175,000 Btu unit with the -5? If you want to replace with the proper size, your contractor should do a Manual-J on your home, count the radiators or measure the baseboard lengths to determine the correct boiler size. The new boilers make hot water on demand and do not store hot water like the old units. If the boiler is over-sized it will short cycle and cause you no end of problems. Good luck,

I'm holding off purchasing scents for now. Auntie Celene said she'll send me what samples she doesn't want/like. I figure they can be used for small batches. Also, I think most of the ones I need for herbals/hand-milleds can probably be found in a natural food store's essential oil section. Or maybe I can use steeped herbs, spices, rinds, and/or teas? Hobby Lobby only had lavender, peppermint, clove, ylang-ylang, & eucalyptus EOs anyhow, at roughly $3.50 per 1/2 oz. I already had 100% pure eucalyptus EO from when I had a real bad cold.

Hi all. I've been searching and searching for a FO company that sells the scent "Candle Shop" for use in soy candles. Can anyone help me out?

Depending on the quality of the eggnog oil & HOW you store it, it should be fine till next holiday season. It should be stored in an amber glass bottle, preferably out of the light, & in a temp controled room....not an attic, garage or bathroom. Don't know about the scrub recipe, but as fas as the calendula oil, do some research & see what it's shelf life is, & HOW much you can use in a recipe. Oils are not all equally replaceable--recipies can only be certian percentages of some oils. (You may have to STILL use some sweet almond or other carrier oil along with SOME calendula oil) Also, check the shelf life of calendula oil. Some oils have a MUCH shorter shelf life than sweet almond oil, which is WHY sweet almond is used so much. And you may have to add a preseritive WITH the calendula oil, which may defeat whatever reason you want to get rid of the sweet almond oil. Don't know how much help any of that is......
