Pulling it all together in the kitchen

I never could have made it this far in our construction project without the help of the folks over in the Kitchen Forum. Now we're *this* close to choosing the finishing touches and I could really use some design feedback as to if I'm on the right track!

We built a 15'x25' addition, where we are relocating our kitchen and dining room. Here's the layout:

We're planning the following color scheme:

- White shaker cabinets (very close to BM white dove)

- Dark (walnut type) stain on the windows. All along I had it in the back of my mind that I would paint my window mullions and sashes white, but now I'm leaning toward staining them, and trimming them with white. Currently they are bare wood. I haven't seen very many pictures of kitchens/rooms with stained wood/white window trim. Will this look ok?

- White window trim (not yet installed/pictured)

- Dark gray countertops (Wilsonart Oiled soapstone laminate)

- BM Suntan Yellow (2155-50). It's a pretty saturated yellow!

- Butcher block island (maple)

- Oak floors

- "Matte bronze" schoolhouse lighting: http://schoolhouseelectric.com/fixture-finishes.asp

- Fixtures above windows on the stove wall: http://schoolhouseelectric.com/fixtures-detail.asp?FixtureID=35&all=0
- Pendant lighting over the island: http://schoolhouseelectric.com/fixtures-detail.asp?FixtureID=234&all=0

- Range: 1954 O'Keefe & Merritt model 405

- Built in corner cabinet (will paint or stain, but what color ?)

Here's some photos of where we're at right now:

Oak floors (we're using the same flooring that's original to the rest of the house):

Built in corner cabinet that we're relocating to the Dining Room. I'll either paint or strip/stain (don't like current color):

As you can probably gather, I'm going for a transitional white kitchen, with a pop of color in the walls. Am I on the right track? Any suggestions would be most welcome!
