I upload pictures to a folder on a friend's web server, and use the same html link to his folder, instead of a photo-hosting website. Claire over on the New England Gardening forum uses Tinypic. According to her, the advantage of TinyPic.com is that it's very easy to upload one photo and link to it, and you don't have to set up an account. The disadvantage is that you can only upload one photo at a time, which is not useful if you want to show many photos. Claire's instructions for using Tinypic.com: 1. The photo files on your computer must be in a format such as jpeg or jpg. 2. Using Tiny Pic, you hit the "Choose File" button and it searches your computer desktop. 3. Choose one then select a size ("Resize" button), and then UPLOAD NOW. 4. When the file is uploaded, copy the HTML tag, not the IMG tag. 5. Paste the HTML tag in your post. I am terrible at printing photos!! I also don't like the way my computer at home stores photos (don't like the look of it compared to how I was used to saving) and they're pretty unorganized. When DH and I got together we'd always buy cheapy camera and take photos. Photos of places we've been, goofy photos, caught you off guard photos... we have three huge photo albums filled up (in order) and then I got a new digital camera and we just stopped. :( I guess I'm lazy when it comes to digital. The stores that have the little photo maker things are always so busy. Ording online means paying for shipping which can be high if you're ordering a bunch. I have photos on CDs but for some reason I think it makes it more difficult to find and view. Much easier when they're physically right there. I do back everything up now because I once lost all my photos on my computer. Most weren't important but there were some of family and of Sylvester as a kitten. I know people store them online with sites like Snapfish and Shutterfly but what happens if that company goes under or something? I have photos on some of those sites but it kind of bothers me to think they're just sitting there, online. Forever? My family took gobs of photos over the years and had them developed. I loved and still do enjoy looking. I also love a good home video once in awhile. They all bring back fond memories of being a kid. I'll have to come up with a good system/get organized when we have kids since I know we'll take a bazillion photos.

Oops! I seem to have forgotten that I started this thread, but the responses have been very helpful. I think I will definitely to go El Camaguey and buy a tortilla press, although I don't think it has a stainless steel surface like Ann's, which would be nice. I do keep dry masa on hand, but I also keep fresh masa in the freezer - for making what I thought were empanadas, but which are probably quesadillas, at least as they are made in Mexico, and deep fried. As for flour tortillas, since I've found the whole grain tortillas in the market, I probably won't be making too many of those again, although I might want to experiment with some of the whole grain flours I have. I don't especially like tortillas made with all white flour, and corn tortillas are my favorite. When I first visited Vancouver for a long visit (1978 or so), I was shocked that I could not find fresh corn tortillas in the grocery stores (I did find frozen ones, but did not consider that acceptable). At that time, I practically lived on soft tacos (that I made myself, often with tofu), and so I had to make an adjustment. I think I bought some whole wheat crackers instead. I think I will try to find some Hispanic markets, although there aren't any in my immediate neighborhood. There are some in neighboring Mar Vista (where Scott lives), which is less than 2 miles from here. There are several places to buy fresh tamales, but they don't sell tortillas. Anyway, I think I will keep looking and also get the tortilla press. Lars
