wet photo help?

I posted this on another board but I am desparate so I am posting it on both boards to see if there is anyone out there who might have some help for me. My brother just brought me a small suitcase full of photos, well at one time or another some of them must have gotten wet and they are stuck together. Any suggestions for getting them apart without ruining the shots? Thanks Penny

I hate to say it but the few times I have gotten photos wet they haven't been in great condition afterwards (the water makes the colours run).

I Hope someone has more positive response!! You may be able to save some but I don't think all.

I really hope you can get them apart without loosing any.

Penny,

I would take the ones that are really stuck to a professional photo shop and see if they have some magic stuff to un-do them. I'm sure they get these types of situations pretty often.

I would guess there are some municipal constraints that control what you can do with a spring. It might be smarter to landscape in a way that allows the water to ebb and flow than to try to shunt if off your property - if that is where mother nature and the city decree that it should be. Also, where do you want the water to go - check that it is OK for it to go there. The more you can tell (and show) about the problem and the area, the better the information you will get. Karin L

There is also pickrel rush, ice ballet milkweed,cinderella milkweed (pink) ribbon grasses, several types of rushes, many types of sedges, spider lillies all types, mints all types ( warning mint can be very invasive), pink flamingo water celery, obediant plant, most types of cannas once they are up and have the first leaf unfurled, many types of taro,lousiana irises, japenese irises, ragged robin, hardy purple thalia, if part of it is shaded in the afternoon white butterfly ginger, elephant ears, calidums, celosa,impatiants ( impatiants can take full sun if wet enough). If you go to the ponds forum you would be surprised at some of the terrific plants that like wet feet.

"wet" brick on home exterior - help please!

Mine was from my lawn sprinklers spraying on my house. Brick is Porous. You probably have a leak somewhere or condensation. The wet brick itself probably isn’t a problem, but where the water is coming from maybe.

Well I went out and bought some un-do and I am going to try it and see if I can get some results from it, I have nothing to lose. Thanks everyone. Penny
