Kris, Great questions. I LOVE the swaps we have and have a great time getting and sending them. I like the idea of various items in the swap envelopes, like die cuts, stickers, paper, etc.. It's always fun to see the different items that you have never seen before in your area. As for some new theme's how about: camping or nature, cute kids paper, checks, stripes, dots and hearts swap, Masculine papers, or an odd paper swap such as: vellum, diamond dust, suede, embossed, metallic, corragated, mulberry, etc.., odd holiday swap: such as Thanksgiving, St. Patricks day, Valentines, etc.., sports swap, etc.. I love swapping it all so anything is fine with me. As for the price I think that we probably all swap at least $10.00 worth of supplies already, since it doens't take long to add up with scrapbook supplies. Penny

Kris, count me in! I didn't participate on the last swap due to other committments, but did the previous swap, it was so much fun! I'm with Penny on the various items in the swap, die cuts, stickers, paper etc. I also thought of.... if some of the swappers do rubber stamping we could stamp a sheet of paper and the reciepient could do their own coloring, something like a border or a theme. And 10.00 sounds good to me too since I think most of us go over the 5.00 anyways.

Count me in, too! I just got your package today. Perfect timing! I worked 1p-1a last night and slept 3 hours and went back in for another 4 hours at 7am. Was pooped, but that all changed when I saw the goodie box! Love the paper, already have pictures planned for them and the stars and Liberty Bell are perfect! Thands!!! jill

$10 is fine with me. I like getting the variety of stickers/paper/die cuts so I'd like to see that stay. I also like picking out things in all those categories too!

I always try to add punch pieces to my swaps so maybe that's something people can do - if you have a punch, throw in some punchies! Just a thought. :)

Oh - and count me in on the next one. I like the idea of summery/spring stuff like flowers/butterflies/bees but didn't we do that already?? Forgive me if my brain is soft. :)

I would like to get involved in the next swap as well. I haven't been doing any of the previous swaps because I've been busy, but I'm all for participating in the next one. I now live close to 3 (count 'em, 3!) LSS, so I'm confident I can pick up some cool stuff for my swap partner!

Janet and any other new swappers, this is a rundown on how these swaps work. Usually the hostess (Kris has been our new swap hostess) will post a theme for the monthly swap. You let her know that you are interested in swapping, and she then matches you up with preferably someone you have never swapped with before. She will send out a list with the matches and the addresses. It is best but not required for you then contact whoever it is you are matched with to find out exactly what they are looking for or need. I have contacted several people who really didn't need the theme we were swapping that month but really needed some other item, so I sent that, but this step is totally up to you. You would then get together $10.00 worth of scrapbook items relating to that month's theme (unless otherwise changed by you and your partner) For example say the theme is sports, then you would send some sports pages, die cuts, stickers, paper dolls, punchies, etc.. anything to add up to the $10.00 total, and your partner would do the same for you. You will be amazed at the difference and likeness of the paper and stickers that are available. You then mail off your packages. All items included in the swap should be scrapbook safe.

I am really interested in swaping and I know how it works. The problem is that the only store near me I can get scrapbooking stuff from near here is the Rag Shop, and they don't exactly have a huge selection of things.
