6 YEARS LATER AND ATG STORES IS UP TO THE SAME TRICKS. I just ordered a laundry hamper through their store on Jan. 27. On Feb. 3, I checked on my order which said it was "still being processed." On Feb. 8, my order NO LONGER EXISTED. When I called their customer service, the gentleman on the phone said they had sent me an email on Jan. 30 (similar to that 3 day window you mentioned!). I checked my email and there was NO EMAIL SENT. (I checked all spam/junk/promo). He said they were back-ordered for THREE MONTHS. I told them that was unacceptable and that I wanted my money back. (at least that went smoothly). But now today I get an email that says I canceled the order? WRONG. YOU DID NOT HAVE ITEM AVAILABLE. What's sad is that item is still being shown as available to purchase on their website, so some other sucker can go fall for the same trap. If I hadn't called... I would still be waiting... yet without an order number to back me up... and maybe not receiving my item until APRIL (if ever)! When I tried to post about it on their Facebook page, my post did not go up... so, when people visit their social media, they can't see the sh*tty experience others are having... tricky, tricky ATG Stores... Tricky, TRICKY! Shame on you for your deceptive practices!

I'll buy my major appliances online when: The online retailer will sponsor my local youth sports team, buy my daughter's Girl Scout cookies, donate time to a local charity, have their cars serviced in a local garage, use the corner dry cleaner's services, get a haircut, eat at a local restaurant, etc. If you live in a "sales tax" state and are able to avoid the tax by buying online, you are helping fund those same services in the other locale, while not contributing to the cost of services you enjoy in your own community. Regardless of your home state's means of funding, your local economy is enhanced by your purchases of big ticket items from local dealers and loses when you buy from out of state. In these hard economic times your local retailers really need your support. Store owners and employees are active in your community and contribute to the economy by buying the goods and services that may well be connected with the way you earn your own living. You can always get an online quote and use it as a negotiating tool with the local retailer. Most will try to either match the price, or provide extra services the online retailer cannot. To have a local company (with a reputation to uphold) looking out for your post-sale interests is an added bonus. Here's a thought for any who watched last weekend's Solheim Cup golf tournament. If an attitude of support and loyalty like that shown by the American team members were to be shown toward the local retails in our communities, the economy would be well served.

I am still looking for all sizes of the French Quarter Cobblestone to finish an area of my house. I had 300sqft set aside, but I lost it all in the California Fire on Nov 15th when my storage burned. If I was able to get 100sqft, that should be enough to finish. I need 6x6, 6x12, 12x12, and 12x18. Anyone with any of this left over please email me. Thank You. Drew

I ordered undercabinet fluorescent lights from CSN Lighting last July, and had a couple of problems with the order. First their website listed one price for the units, but when I select the items and proceded to the checkout, a different (and of course higher) price was used for calculating the total. Then, when I called to get the price problem straightened out, I specifically asked whether fluorescent tubes were included with the lights since the website said (and still to this day says) "This undercabinet fluorescent light bar is the latest in undercabinet lighting, complete with energy efficient T5 fluorescent lamps." which really suggests that the lamps would be included. Whereas the PDF specifications file from the lamp manufacturer noted that the lamps were not included. So, the person I talked to checked and said that the fluorescent tubes would be included with the lamps. When the shipment arrived, no fluorescent tubes. After several subsequent calls to them I was unable to get the matter straightened out, so I ordered the tubes from elsewhere and have decided to not give any more business to CSN Lighting (or any of the dozens of other CSN stores) My main lighting for the room, I ordered monorail track lighting from Arcadian lighting, and had a much better online shopping experience. They honored their 110% price match guarantee without batting an eyelash, and the person I dealt with there (Tony Lin) was extremely helpful. The order was shipped with two incorrect items, and Tony noticed it before the package arrived, and immediately shipped a separate package with the right items, and a prepaid shipping label to return the wrong items.
