I appreciate the sentiment, thank you. I had dinner with my kids and ex (we do holiday meals together with the kids). My children are finally old enough to be pleasant dinner companions, which is a real treat! I still remember all too well the years of avoiding restaurants with table clothes.

Did you supply the labor for planting that flat of flowers, too? That would be a nice gift!

I got out of the planting part as my sister was there and said that she would help mom do that as she was going to be doing other flower work around the yard....mom's indecisiveness tends to make me take St. Johns Worts so I appreciated my sis speaking up...lol
