Here's wishing you a very happy birthday, eloise. Hope you go out and celebrate big-time!!!

Yep, I've been enjoying DD and SIL visiting from California. They were here from Friday night until yesterday. Are now in the upper part of the state visiting SIL's family. We had about 60 guests at the birthday/welcome home reunion this past Saturday.

Oops! Just checked my glass - it's time for another toast!

Well, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I remember having so much fun on my 39th birthday (2007) - hope yours is just as much fun!

Happy belated bday!! Sounds like you had a nice time with your family. I went to that Newnan, GA chicken show on Saturday that I told you about awhile back ..that the Black Copper Marans were going for the qualifying APA (American Poultry Assn.) approval. Now they are a legitimate breed in America and not just France, England, Austrailia, etc. LOL! Loooong drive but worth it. I have some good Marans pics from the show. SJN

Caren, Happy Birthday to your dad! It was also one of my very best friend's birthday; we will get together soon to celebrate. Not 73, but getting closer, 65! I had a fantastic lunch with a couple of friends, and later a great time at Benihana's for dinner. Afterwards we all went to my dd's for cake and presents. All the presents were wonderful, but the very best was a bareroot Lady Apple tree that I had been wanting, yay!!!! Amazing how simple things make me happy :-) Here's a few pictures:

Oh my goodness I'm always and day late and a dollar short! Happy belated birthday my dear friend! Sounds like you made out like a bandit with all the fine food,fine drinks, family and friends. And to top it off with a gift card to a Nursery. I'd be in Hog Heaven if someone did all that for me. (grin) You deserve a wonderful time because you are such a caring and giving individual. Thanks all! I was gone all day yesterday so am now just getting on GW. My oldest granddaughter and I shared our b.d. celebration on Saturday with family and friends. Her b.d. was on the 19th. We went to the Olive Garden and ate, and ate, had fun, and we both received lots of presents :-)!!! Yesterday, my DD had a fondu dinner for us at their home to continue the celebration.

You guys are just great! Thanks for being here.
