Ordering punchies on the web

Has anyone ordered punchies (punched pieces) on the web? I just ordered some from Punch-n-up, but then found some other sites that might be better. Let me know your experiences with this. I'm tired of buying punches that I can only use once, and like the idea of getting punchies that I can use or trade. Thanks

I have ordered Punchies from Nana's , and was very satisfied. Got exactly the amounts and colors that I asked for.

From the ratings, it seems Jungs had a 10% complaint record. Guess I have been lucky as all my purchases were fine. Last year when I was trying to track down a missing shipment of bushes (from one of those 'top-rated' vendors), no one could locate them. Surprise, when I got a note that a package was at the local post office...where it had been shoved under a shelf months earlier! Was reimbursed without incident. Once I was sent some lily bulbs from another top rated firm and they arrived shriveled and hard as stone...sitting on a radiator?...and when I notified the co, offered to return the evidence, they said, no problem. New bulbs were sent. Using my garden calendar, I call vendors if I have not received my order at the expected time. I always have the confirmation number and the person's name to whom I gave the order. Last year, one of my seed packets from Baker's Heirloom seeds was missing and another substitued. When I reported it, they said keep what was sent and they sent the one ordered. Overall, I have been happy with 'my' suppliers. I appreciate folks sharing their purchasing experiences. I'd call them... this kind of thing has happened before to me, if you don't get a receipt, I betcha the order didn't go through. I've had that happen like 4 times.... like if you don't click enter JUST right, or something, it doesn't go through. I have ended up waiting and waiting... then finally figured it out.

Well the facts are in, my "trusted" auto mechanic's hands are dirty. As mentioned he priced a complex exaust part for a 1990 Mits Galant at $270, wow! He of course charges an hourly rate for his work: $65, less than the dealer charges, but still a "living" wage and sufficient to pay overhead costs at the same time. I always supposed he also marked up the cost of parts, maybe 10 to 20 percent, and much of that was due to the fact that he can purchase at a discount compared to what I pay. Well as mention above I found the needed parts and they came with delivery at a price of $130. So, today while at the one of the auto parts houses he priced parts at I asked after the price of the parts, $170, even to me, and that's $100 less than the mechanic wants to charge me. I'd be willing to bet he gets the parts for closer to the $130 line. In any case I get this picture: Time 1 Hour: cost $65, Parts mark-up $100, true cost per hour: $165, plus tax. I'll work on this one myself and may look for another mechanic, but my hopes of finding a more honest one are not high.

Have received products (Hansgrohe, Kohler, Delta) from both Faucetdirect and faucetdepot, both have been fine, reasonably prompt and mostly, economical. As a matter of a fact, just received the last piece of my order- Hansgrohe roman tub filler, today from faucetdepot. That last piece needed to be ordered (not in their regular stock), but I was aware of that when I ordered. They did not charge my credit card until the last item had been shipped, which I thought was nice. Faucetdirect has sent me stuff wicked fast more that once over the last 2 years.

I have ordered several times from Punch-n-up have been very satisified. Plus she sends you a pack of freebies if you order $20. But a punchie swap sounds good too!

I punchie swap is fine with me too as long as it doesn't get too big or too many punches. My old bones just won't punch like they used to. LOL I need to invest in a power punch. Penny P.S. I would be willing to buy the actual punches (not punchies) from some of you if you no longer are needing them, and they are at a reasonable price. Penny

I ordered from Puncharific (link below) and was very satisfied. Her prices were very reasonable and she made them all adhesive (I assume with a xyron machine, or however you spell it).

Speaking of power punch Penny, they have a Strong Arm punch aid that is a scaled down version (and much less expensive) of the power punch. I'm thinking of getting one soon! (the company from the link below has 2 different types) Hilary
