Cabinet Makers in the Boston area?

Just posted yesterday asking for brands of custom/semi-custom cabs and it seems to make sense to get recs of cabinet makers in New England. Would love your recs...

Hi bar,
We used Faneuil Kitchen Cabinets; their phone # is (781) 740-8844. I highly recommend them. They do beautiful work and are a pleasure to work with at every step of the project. They are located in Hingham, however they travel beyond the south shore. My sister and DH's brother also used them with excellent results.

Mediterranean Custom Cabinets in Bridgewater, MA. We are doing our second kitchen with them now.... They are a small shop in Bridgewater, they build everything onsite, and can do anything, and they have the best prices hands down. Good Luck!

Hi- I used Creative Cabinets in Walpole. Mike is great there and the two guys who work for him are great too.. I can't think of the # off the top of my head, but if you are interested email me and I can get you the info.. We didn't choose him.. We built our house in Canton and just moved in about 2 months ago.. Our builder uses him and we were so happy. Reasonably priced b/c of course we went over our alloted budget and in fact we are adding a "dry Bar" which he is building for us as well.. let me know if you want pictures of his work! Good luck! I am not sure why you want an "Amish" cabinet maker. We are just starting our kitchen renovation that we have been planning since 2008. My husband works with a man who does custom cabinets with his brother who is retired. He is fair, honest, consciencious, works very quickly and I could go on, but you get the idea. We just contracted with him to do our custom kitchen. His prices are more than fair, he just finished his son's kitchen. He does very nice work and his cabinets are very high quality. We are going with mahogany cabinets. I think you might be within his reach location wise. He lives in Green Springs, which is several miles from Fremont, Ohio. His name is Todd Neirman(sp) and his cell phone number is 419-307-3673. He took us around and showed us other cabinets he has made. Good Luck.

OK. Other than Norfolk, I went to Boston Kitchens (they carry Wellborn, Ultracraft and a few others) - locations are Middleton, Wilmington (and some others that don't come to mind). Price wise they were 2nd cheapest. I went to Jackson Lumber in Lawrence (they carry Wood-Mode & Brookhaven). Finally, I checked out Mede Kitchen & Bath - they are in Danvers now (formerly in North Reading) - they carried the Omega lines (Dynasty/Embassy & Custom). Of the places, Mede was the most expensive. I have heard nice things about Moynihan lumber (several locations) but didn't go there personally. If you have a complete kitchen design that you like that will probably save you some time as they'll be able to quote more quickly using your existing layout.

We did not price out semi-custom so I'm not sure. Hopefully someone who does know will respond to your post. I'm surprised you haven't received more responses to your inquiry, perhaps everyone is away this week-end. It certainly would be a good week-end to leave MA due to the weather.

I also heard great things about Faneiul Cabinets. We decided to go semi-custom, but I remember that they came highly recommended.
