Hey Penny - how about cutting the face off a photo and put it on the paper doll. I did this with some of the paper dolls from makingfriends.com. I started making a nativity set with the faces of people from out church - did one with the pastor's face and chickened out! I also put my granddaughter's face on one and used an outfit from the makingfriends.com site. Have I added yet more to your addiction?

The dolls are so cute. I like the ones that already have faces otherwise mine would be faceless!! I bought a package of just the doll Paperkins and will attempt to make some clothes. They make packages of the doll with clothes, but no packages of just clothes, I tried some other doll clothes but they are the wrong size. So I guess I'll be making clothes too!! The small checks and plaids would make cute dresses, shorts and tops, just have to get the pattern down. Wish I saved all my paper dolls from way back when, boy am I dating myself! If you have scrapbook magazines check those sometimes their might be a pattern or two in them.

I use paperdolls in my scrapbooks...I have been using the Jill Rinner paperdoll templates ( doll and clothes ). I also purchased a 'sweet expression' paperdoll face templates. With out this my dolls would all be faceless! You can choose between different eyes, noses, lips, cheeks,etc...it is a life saver for me! I love using dolls in my books it adds that xtra touch.
