I'd say for 50 bucks it looks worth it, esp if it's a sofa and loveseat. I like the legs on them!

You can always brighten it up with pillows, and a soft beige/ivory throw blanket across an arm or something.

I'd grab it in a heartbeat if I couldn't afford the replacement I wanted right away but wanted a temp fix!

It's a great looking set and for fifty dollars, it's quite a deal, even with the kitty scratches. Though I must say it's made me more than happy I didn't get the ivory set I was looking at. If you don't have cats I'd at least look at it closely before making a final decision. Good Luck!

I'm dragging my feet.....I sent out $50 offers to 2 people with white leather couches that look like mine. Maybe one will part with theirs for "cheap"! :0) Then I can shop at my liesure to buy a set of matching cloth chairs that will be off to the side out of the sun.

THey are actually pretty cool. Cat scratches go away with a black sharpie lightly applied. Just wondering if they are really leather at that price.

I would want to see this in person before commiting. I can see the scratches on the legs, side and cushions, just in the photos. Anything that visible might NOT be easily covered with a black sharpie.

If you are looking for temporary and can stomach shelling out more money in 2 or 3 years go for it. I don't mind previously owned as long as the quality is there, what I do mind is paying more money for new and having it look 20 years old in 2 years-ugh! Is there anything on CL, that is under $600 that would fit the bill? $50 vs $600 is a huge difference on CL. PS. I do like it!

Never ending....your right cheap junk wears out quickly. That's kinda why I was thinking of not owning a matched set.....couch-loveseat-chair-ottoman. I paid $3k for the last set 18 years ago. Then I felt stuck when I hated it. The cushions unzip & velcrow, for easy restuffing and reupholstering....I just want to throw it out!!!! BTW....DH loved it! Every time you sit down the seat cushions slid forward and tried to throw you off the couch. So then I'd stand up and karate chop them back into place. :0) The leather scratched and the grey underneath showed thru, no white shoe polish would stick to it.

The couch could be replaced often and still keep the ottoman and club chairs combo. :0) Just a thought.....
