Quartz Counter Tops - Can laminated stacked edge be removed after
Comments (4)I'd slap a fence on the Raptor and cut the tops down in the house. The inside corners and ends that butt to cabinets and walls would have to be freehanded. The masking and cleanup bill would be about as much as the work itself, but it could be done depending on the size and configuration of the job. Of course this is assuming the edges lip over the cabinets; you can't cut the edge off and expose underlayment. If not, you're back to replacement. Here is a link that might be useful: Raptor...See MoreDupont Zodiaq quartz counter
Comments (4)The product is made in a factory rather than strip mined from the earth, so you will find that it is much more consistent with your sample than what you may be familiar with in choosing a granite. That being said, there apparently can be slight variations sheet to sheet. When you have selected a fabricator that is going to do the work you should be able to go to their site and see the product and ensure the sheets look good and agree with your sample/expectations. If you are buying from Big Orange or Big Blue, you can ask them who does their work for that product in your area. If you color is not super popular, however, they may not stock it until you order it. I would make sure though that you still have a chance to approve and reject it if for some reason it is not consistent with the sample. But there is a lot less variation than natural stone. Some people believe that granite is over. The Zodiaq is much nicer. (my opinion before all the granite people pile on)...See MorePlease post pictures of your counter-tops

Comments (118)We have had almost the exact same issue with our corian. The builder wouldn't even come to check it only went by the pictures we sent. Then blamed it all on something "very hot" had to do that! I can tell you now, it did not. There is also a large dip or warp over the dishwasher. When we pulled it out there is absolutely no heat barrier or insulation to protect the corian. The installer also never sealed the sink basin. Which we found out the hard way when our sink overflowed. The installer/builder takes no blame Won't even come to look or tell us what we can do. There is a ten year warranty on the corian, we've been fighting this for over two years now. The ten year warranty will be up in September of this year. What can we do???...See Moreedlakin
