Cookbook pages

I have a cookbook that my Mother had written by hand w/ some of her favorite recipes. I want to preserve them as best I can. I know the paper she wrote it on was not acid free or anything since it was written 40+ yr ago and it has already yellowed and the ink has turned colors on some pages. But I do want to preserve her handwriting if possible. She died about 15 yr ago and I have very few handwritten things left. I know I can scan them onto acid free paper (when and if DH ever gets it hooked up to the "puter), but then what to do w/ the real pages? You are all so great w/ ideas I am hoping someone can offer suggestions.

Thanks,

Jane (Pookie)
