Holy cow... I'm in the "collecting" stage, and found a very handy organizer from QVC. I think it might be part of the Cropper Hopper family. Anyway it's in a folder that zips up completely and has all those plastic sleeves in varying sizes for various stickers and different sized paper. Nice quality.

I just received another nylon folder zipper upper thing with loops for each pen and scissors I have. It's a way to keep everything in one place and I can see everything at once.

Oh! And there's this cute four drawer thing (made of see-thru plastic) just right for pens, etc, keeping them stored flat. This, and the first thing were a good buy.

The thing I got for storing photos... well.. it's "o.k." but I need to organize myself better for it.

I envy your having a scrapping room! VERY nice luxury... :) So how do you have that organized? Is there a big table in it?

Ooh! I'd LOVE to have my own room just for scrapping! Did you see the scrapsite article in Creating Keepsakes not too long ago?? *DROOL!* We're planning on moving in the near/far future and a room to scrap in is one of the absolute musts! :o)

Re: storage. I keep my growing paper collection in an accordian file. I'm an organization FREAK and love to have all the colours of cardstock separated (greens, blues, etc). I keep my punches in one of those embroidary floss organizers. But I'm at a loss with what to do with the few large-sized and border punches that I have since they don't fit.

A really cool idea I came across one day? You know when you're looking through a SB magazine and you see all sorts of layout ideas you might want to refer back to? Well, instead of dog-earring the pages or sticking post-it notes all over the place, on a 4x6 index card I write down the magazine issue, page number, what the idea is and any notes/ideas I have about it. I keep those cards in an index card box that's separated under titles like "punch art", "lettering/font", etc. The idea is a little "obsessive" (for lack of a better word), but it works! I read my SB magazines from cover to cover anyway and I can keep the pile of magazines neat and out of site until I need them. Plus, I kind of just started and have only a handful of magazines. I didn't have to backtrack through a pile of old issues.

I like my tackle box for gear and hanging file folders for paper. I have caught up all my old photos, but I keep the left-overs (those deemed unworthy of scrapbooks) in a plastic shoe box.

I use one of those cardboard shoe holders (sold at KMart, WalMart, etc) for holding 8x10 paper ... there are nine sections and fits easily on top of the computer desk hutch. I bought this years ago thinking I would put shoes in it... LOL .... now for a place for the 12x12 paper which is what I use more often!

I use these boxes made by Rubbermaid that you can buy at WalMart or Ames or places like that.

They have 3 clear pull out drawers and can stack on top of each other. They fit 8"x11" paper perfectly. I also store some of my Hot Off The Press scrapbook papers that come in the book in these. They fit well, too.

For my stickers, I have a three ring binder. Inside the binder I bought plastic sheets that have small pockets in them that would fit a coin in or something. I cut apart my stickers and they fit in the pockets well. It's a lot easier to look at that way.

I also a small plastic tote with a handle that I keep my adhesives, pens, scissors, etc. in.

I really do like those drawers for my papers. It makes it so much neater for me.

Another good storage idea is using the small size accordian files (the size you would sort checks in) for your photos. They have twelve slots to sort your pictures in to make your scrapping easier...especially if you can only get to it once and a while.

I also use those plastic pencil boxes that you can get almost anywhere for a buck or two for punches and what not.

Oh! And for you Pampered Chef addicts who also scrap...I use the Tool-turn-about for pens and markers!
