Its far from fall here today! It got to the 90s and there were thunderstorms, they just all missed my area, some just by 2 or 3 miles!! But right now you can see flashes of lightning in the distance and its really really humid out there. Humidity is at 98% and the dew point is at 73F which is really high since the actual temperature is 74F! The closer the dew point is to the actual temperature, the more humid. Windows are also all very fogged up. Tonight will be in the 70s as usual, but I do see some nights in the upper 60s in the forecast so it is getting cooler and there are some days in the forecast that are only in the low 80s. I have no doubt that it is starting to get cooler. I just hope we can enjoy the 80s for a bit longer. Some people tire of summer and long for winter, but I really wouldnt mind summer all year long!! Life Span of Terracotta type septic system?

Thanks Klem1, our laundry grey water system is not connected to the septic lines so no problem there. And normal water use does not cause problems as the septic system works perfectly 95% of the time with the exception of prolonged very heavy rainfall such as 2" one day then again 2" the next day (twice/year on average now). This system has a distribution box with 6 leach lines extending about 75' each. As for trees, there are 2 Paper Mulberry trees that have notorious root systems that have surely disrupted at least 2 of the leach lines and that's no help for sure. This spring once things are dryer I will consult a specialist for pricing the replacing at least the 2 lines nearest the trees. The ground over the leach field is high ground and doesn't puddle water thankfully. The only reason the lower toilet burps when the upper toilet is flushed is because the lower toilet is vented with a studer vent which allows air intake but does not let air out (unlike a roof vent which does both). If the lower toilet was vented thru the roof it would not burp and I wouldn't know that waste water could be backing up into the line from the house until it was too late. I hope that makes sense, ha.

This is simple if your original contract specified selected brick and color... and if that brick and color wasn't available or discontinued... the contractor should have showed you similar brick with matching color, have your approval and a signature before ordering anything and doing the work. By taking things upon himself and doing the work without the change being approved, it's his screw up and you can make him eat it. With that said, you can go after him and deal with all that mess... or relax, stand back and take a look at the chimney, how much of the brick is showing, was the work good and everything is nice and clean and will you lose sleep over it...or you can live with it and move on, that is something you have to decide. OK...I am new here...what is a TUT??? I use PSP but your guys are all so way ahead of me. I have a graphics web design sight for web site graphics but you guys have it all over me. I have not tried my "animation shop" yet...maybe that's my problem. LOL!

Welcome uneamie - at last I can help you. A "tut" is short form for tutorial...... like the link that jacksmum or Sue, gave you in Day 40 for I believe in Magic. There are lots and lots of tutorials for PSP.... you follow them, step by step and learn how to do all kinds of interesting things. Some learn faster than others, and some of us forget what we learn as soon as we try to learn another step (talking about myself of course).
