there are a few ways. first you could right click the file and OPEN WITH, then select psp7, or you can go into windows explorer, click on TOOLS >> FOLDER OPTIONS >> FILE TYPES (tab), then manually edit every graphics filt type you want associated with psp7 to open system-wide, or go into psp7 select PREFERENCES >> FILE TYPE ASSOCIATIONS and then list all the iles types you want to open with psp7 (you might also have to go into psp-xi and DESELECT the same in preferences to get the over-ride through.

Dar, try this PSP 9 Workspace tutorial....you should be able to click on Default. It's near the bottom under "Loading Workspace". RE: Plugins. You will have to find the folder that holds your Plugins and delete the ones you no longer want. It should be some thing like.... C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 9\Plugins Open the Plugin file and find the name of the Plugin you no longer want and delete... Joy Here is a link that might be useful: Customizing, Saving & Loading Workspaces (PSP 9)

Hang in there Dar. It's slow around here lately but maybe someone will come along with an answer for you. Judy

Nothing can compare with the original JASC made PSP's. Coral has their own system which I think is a whole new ballgame. I know their help support stinks cause I just got the run around with them on a problem that got solved right off the bat from JOY, here on this forum when I posted my problem just ONCE! I had been emailing Coral several times about it which they could not tell me how to correct it.
