Dar, The problem is, you have this path... C:\pspStuff\Texturizer\filter It needs to be this path... C:\pspStuff Mine is C:\PSPStuff\PlugIns because I have another sub folder there. And I don't have the 3rd box checked...Limit loaded plug-in files... But that's not the reason this isn't working. It's your path. When I said in my inst. "So the path to one of my folders and one of the files in it is this..."C:\PSP Stuff\PlugIns\Xenofex\Xenofex .exe" That was just to show you where one is. What I said in the next line in my above inst. was how you enable the path. That was this... Find the path to where you created your new plugin /filter FOLDER. Highlight it and then click OK at the box. Don't forget to close and re-open psp for the filters to take effect. About the .exe question. Most plug-in filters don't come with an executable file (.exe). If they do, then double click on it to install it, and make SURE that you direct it to install to the folder you want it in. Just read all the boxes carefully as they pop up before clicking next. But most don't have an exe file. You just extract the zip file to the folder it's in and that's it, as long as you have that folder enabled in psp. And about having one filter in your psp plug-in folder. That's okay. A few there won't hurt. But if you want to move it, just copy and paste them all to the new folder, then delete it out of the psp folder AFTER you paste it in the new one. "LOL". I'm with you Carol. I too have 8 but use 7 all of the time only cause I know where everything is but 8 works fine on here. It did take forever to open on my old computer compared to this one but I still shyed away from it cause I usually wanted to make something in a hurry. I skipped 9 cause I have to catch up to Joy! :) ~Urlee~

You can see my picture of the Maltese puppy above. I continued to play with it, by adding spruce, gifts and snow picture tubes. When I was finished, I saved it to jpeg. It wasn't until I tried to email the picture to my sister that I realized the file size had grown to 612kb, with the additional picture tubes. Is this normal for a file size to increase with the addition of picture tubes or is there a step I missed? Until just recently, I used PSP 8 only for editing my pictures and knew little about the programs other functions such as layers, masks etc., so I hope my question doensn't sound too ridiculous. D_gw, I look awful with straightened hair too because it seems to take all the volume away and the top gets as flat as a pancake. Even though it is straigthened you still have to pull it straight when drying and frizz still happens with regular straightening. I haven't tried the Keratin but my stylist who has trained to do it said it isn't low maintenance. You still have to spend the time pulling it straight. If the Keratin left the curl and just added moisture and shine I would be on board for it. Star, I'm glad the Keratin worked for you. Fighting curly hair IS NOT fun! You say it's easy to style and wash and go. What do you do to style it? Do you blow dry it with a round brush? I am so glad that you posted about this because there are so many people who don't want to embrace the curls and this sounds like a great alternative!
