Hi Guys, Sorry i haven't posted lately... I have been out of town and been pretty busy.. So sorry that im late to anwser any questions!! Dave.. Desert Sunrise has been a great Plumeria and i love the lasting inflos and the fragrnce is very strong. I am so bad at describing the scent, but it is sweeet to me and i can smell it when i open the door to go on my deck... Lynnn, J-105 doesn't have much of a scent to me, but i love the color and the shape of the blooms.. Desert Sunrise is the one with the fragrance.. it is one to have!!! Hi Mona.. Savannah gets lots of smooches right on the end of her cute little nose. My son wants to keep her a hunting dog, but she still likes to be a "lady" and have a bloom in her ear at times!!! : ) Dave.. My Miami Rose is still holding onto those huge clusters of blooms.. I have never seem a tree to keep them as long. The Desert Sunrise has done the same. Psycho has been a cluster too! Love that tree!!! I wish that my Penang Peach would bloom, not this year... Wizard has been a beauty tooo! Take care all.. Hi Jen!! Hope all is well down in TX!!! Lava Flow smells like Roses to me.. Psycho just smmells like a sweet frarance.. Miami Rose.. Coconut oil.. SUntan lotion J-105 not much of a scent to me.. Divie. small hint of a sweet scent California Sunset.. sweeet fragrance to me as well LOL.. I feel like Bill describing scents.. He and i have the samme sniffers.. LOL I have a hard time smelling the different scents except for the strong ones.. (DS) Psycho... Metallica had the great fragrance of Grape Koolaid My Saigon Moon is pushing an inflo and Kimi Moragne is too as well as Hilo Beauty!! Ill post some pics when they open... Laura

Sorry, it's Angel Face. This rose drives me nuts. It was one I inherited from my mom so it has sentimental value but the dang thing is the worst black spot magnet in the bed. I don't know how it survives every winter because it spends half the season defoliated. But with all the loses I took this year this ones doing great. It's leafed out all over. I'd shovel prune it but mom loved it and I'm afraid she haunt me if I do lol. The blooms are lovely and the scent is fabulous, of course, so I guess I'll hang on to it.

I put the white border on yesterday and like it. I have to tell you, I'm glad this one is over.....well, almost over. :-) Marge, There are a lot of tutorials out there, but I like Quiltville's the best to help get you started. No paper-piecing, just go for it! It feels strange at first, but then it grabs you and won't let go.....you're hooked! I make mine 6 1/2" unfinished, but you can make them any size you want. I have my crumbs all separated into colors for this project, but now I want to throw them together again so they'll be ready for the next batch of blocks. I've gotten to where I don't keep anything less than an inch anymore, but it still pains me every time they get tossed. That Gwen sure started something in my life when she first posted about Crumbs. LOL, MingO you know me so well. I wanted perfection right off the bat, and should've known better. From what I've read, they say what you suggested - practice and practice more. Not making excuses but the warm, humid weather might not be helping me right now either.
